  1. Or, bowl hopes will be right back on track with a win. Lets bring it home Green guys! GMG
  2. I hope the team has a better start v.s La Tech. It seemed we weren't ready to play. It put us in a real hole. If we start this way vs La Tech, their offense will bury us. Hope we show up big time. We will need to. GMG
  3. We certainly shot ourselves in the foot with our turnovers last night, Give them credit, they took advantage of our miscues. I wish we would have played mistake free football. The game was certainly there for the taking.
  4. I am hopeful this win has the Mean Green faithful ready for a showdown in San Antonio. Who is making the journey South? This win has me geeked up for the Green. It is nice to be winning and Green! GMG
  5. I would have gone for it on both possessions where tried field goals. Moore is just not very good outside of 35 yards. I would have done it to push the other team back possession wise.
  6. Didnt it say he was making the jump to the top level of Juco ball this fall? I would think he would be eligible here the following year.
  7. 5000 in total or 5000 more than last game?
  8. Does it look to be a big one?
  9. Looks like Rice Athletics has a site like ours as well for ticket prices. You probably could walk up before game and get tickets much cheaper from $11-$50. This seems the better of the choices, but what do I know? GMG
  10. Go with the best player. Seems he and Wilson were dinged up a bit. Any word on the severity of their injuries? GMG
  11. 15609 per the meangreensports site.
  12. That Littrell has some real moxie for sure! GMG
  13. I keep hearing there is an issue with the quarterback, and that the receivers were open. The receivers were open, but the offense struggled in the o-line play. The quarterback didn't have the time he needed to get the ball to the open receivers. He was hit a number of times just as he was delivering the ball to the open receivers. Offense play needs to improve vastly going forward or success for Morris will be difficult to come by. I would like to see Fine as much as anybody, but Morris should be given a chance to right the ship. Given a bit more time, he could be successful. Maybe they can roll him out a bit like the pass to the wide out for the TD? I do think if o line play like this continues, Fine is the better option now and for the future. He has the athletic ability to escape a mistake and avoid pressure. He also has the arm strength to make the defense pay on the deep balls. We shall see. It will be interesting to see it unfold. Certainly need to address oline heavily in the off season, though. GMG
  14. Your comment is true and sad. The Mean Green winning should be our focus.
  15. I like the pickup. His highlights show he has good ball hawking skills. He also has good size as well. GMG
  16. I don't know much about Marketing, but I have seen our brand in places I have never seen it before. I am glad we seem to be on an upswing in Marketing ourselves. I think the trend will continue to grow with time. It must continue to do so. GMG
  17. He seems pretty devoted to the Green from his twitter posts. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes it here in some form or fashion down the road. GMG

  19. Did anyone notice Tillman Johnson's brother Terrance is back on the roster? Seems he left the program last year. Glad to have him back. Strength in numbers. GMG
  20. Don't see his name on the roster anywhere. Will it be forthcoming?
  21. You say the Wren doesn't start until August 22. Do you think he will bring along his old sidekick, Stimpy? What do you think he will make him responsible for in the Athletic Department?
