That is a good question. We need to step it up big time, though! Do we have recruiting coordinators? I think we need to re-evalutate how we are going after recruits. It doesnt appear to be working. Hope we can turn it around.

I was listening to Baker speak on an AM 1680 Cooke County radio show. He said he has top 25 aspirations for all sports. I guess you cant get to those levels until first aspire it. Glad his focus is on great things. GMG

If you listen to our AD Baker speak he is hoping for aspirations to be itop 25 in all of our sports. With those types of aspirations middle of the road recruiting will not suffice. It will take time, but our rankings in these publications must improve. GMG

This could make our starting lineup interesting. I can see it working out like this: Reese, Frazier, Holston, Combs and Brice. It could work out other ways, too. It could put Johnson to the bench giving us instant offense, if he can find his stroke? You can also pair Johnson off the bench with Woolridge, Brown, Temara and Lawson. It appears like our offense will improve, but will we play defense consistently? GMG

Surprised we haven't seen when Frazier or Woolridge will be available yet. We need a Vito update!

Maybe a bowl game and some success will be able to turn some recruits like him our way? Here is to hoping. GMG

Sure hope this translates to wins, because Benford hasn't proven in the least that he can mesh talent for wins. They will have to overcome our coaching shortcomings. Hoping for the best. GMG

Ready for a change within our bball program. Was hoping to continue what J Jones had built, but it has been run into the ground. Time has been given and no change has taken place. I would imagine the Athletic Director is well aware of this. I trust his timing in this matter. GMG

Welcome to the Mean Green!

I believe this is the right staff to lead us to great things. I know we have experienced much losing in our recent past. I am tired of it as much as anyone, but to expect a coach to turn things around in year one down fifteen scholarships is not possible. I know in this day in age people want things right now, but I do believe if we can be patient great things are coming. Patience will be necessary. Keep your heads and spirits up Green Guys. Great things are happening within the athletic dept and university. If we can hold out a little longer we will realize what we desire. Success on the gridiron will be ours. I have already seen gains from last year. Keep your eye on the prize.

We have not quit. We have just run up against a much better team than us. We are in year one of the rebuild. Need to temper our enthusiasm a bit. Reality has reared its ugly head.

Gonna be a long day.
