Hey, dd only goes after one OOC win every 2-3 years when his head could be on the chopping block. I figure lala tech this year, or lala or smu next year. If he pulls a win out of his arse in one of those games, he expects us and the admin to get off his back for another 2 years.

King, you're pissin into the wind my friend. Many have listed exactly what you just typed, but it does no good. To some, if you do not support dd without bliders, you are a bandwagon fan jumping off.

I agree I dont want the shortwhornes playing for the chamionship, but I really dont want USC to win again. Maybe it will all work out for the best.

Thats cool. Some of these things don't come across as jokes due to some of the high frustrations and even some of the ill natured posts that have been getting posted. Sometimes you just dont know. Shoot, Id coach this team for less than $225K

No reason to be a smart ass and critisize people on this board who want to better this program.

So far I think my 3 top choices would be Todd Dodge, Rick Neuheisel, or Deloach, in no order. I know that if we were, by some miracle of God, able to search for a new coach, it would cost more money. However, I will gladly open up my checkbook and give what I could.

I think we should all stick to our guns and go hunt the damn things.

dd needs to make sure that the players know there IS a difference between playing more physical, and unsportsmanlike penalties.

Heres a thought on possibly getting a High school coach. I dont know if anyone on here said it already, I cant take reading this whole thread. How about Todd Dodge out of Southlake Carroll? I think he would be ready to move up soon. Would be a pay increase, without having to move. He would almost automatically be a default to get the Area and state's top recruits, they have no doubt heard of him. And with the recent success and publicity of the Dragons, we would surely be getting looked at by recruits throughout the nation. I say he may be the best choice to replace dd.

So, they added six new members that have outdrawn NT, even though NT has won 4 straight conference championships? hmmmm

I'll admit that I suck at math, but if you go 4 steps forward, then 5 steps back, the progress is negated. And if that is a continuing trend, then you will never improve.

Its all ok though, we have a new stadium and new facilites on the way. Once we get those, the 5 star recruits will form the line to the left, and dd's staff will develop a gameplan, etc
