  1. He was only mentioned in the paper once this year that I am aware of. Seems like he had 8 carries or so in a blowout game.
  2. The conversation you said we shouldn't be having ..... You just had all by yourself. I was just wondering what led to Jamario suddenly getting an appropriate number of carries and Pat just 3.
  3. Not a WHO IS BEST or WHO SHOULD PLAY thread. I didn't get to listen to the game, so I'm curious. Did Jamario finally get some carries because Cobbs was injured ... or did Jamario finally get some carries because DD didn't want to risk Cobbs getting injured? Either way, good to see JMo get the appropriate number of touches.
  4. The situation is much worse than expected.
  5. When are they going to start the varsity game?
  6. Was going, but JMo's status makes it unlikely.
  7. Have seen the real one. That must be from the evil nemesis.
  8. It doesn't matter to me who gets the most carries, and I'm sure it doesn't matter to Jamario either. But it sure does seem to be a VERY strange way to start the season given all the off-season hype. It is a good move to get PC's feet back under him and get him used to getting popped again. Is also a good move to let him grab hold of the leadership role. Would've expected the carries to be a bit more even after all the hype of the Double-Barrell Running Attack. If PC was tearing it up, maybe it would've made a bit more sense. But in a game this close, seemed to be a bit odd.
  9. This must be "Make Pat Feel Good" Night
  10. Spring Hill Junior RB, DeMikel Shankle opened the 2005 season with 391 yards of total offense in the Panthers 41-36 victory over the Lindale Eagles. Shankle carried 16 times for 250 yards & 1 TD rushing while catching 2 passes for 141 yards and 1 TD receiving. Sophomore Cody Hendricks added 7 carries for 93 yards and 2 TD's.
