Well, crap. Tuesday was supposed to be my day to leave the courthouse early, but like usual, it got pushed back, so now I leave at my regular time 5:30. Luckily, I'm only about 10 minutes from Fouts, so I may have a little tailgate time.

Haven't read the ones already posted, but I have the topper. In swimming class, A ONE HOUR CREDIT, the teacher had to pick someone for a vendetta, and they chose me. The CSRR rep said he would remove me out of class to resolve the conflict, but that was not good enough. the instructor continued to create false accusations, even involving someone in the class who I had thought to be my friend. The CSRR rep would not do anything further to me, so the insructor continued to harass me until I mentioned lawsuit to the CSRR rep. Nothing further was said, but the semester long ordeal sent me into a depression, and extended my stay at NT a full year.

Majored in Kinesiology and Minored in History in May of '04. about halfway through, I decided I wanted to go into law enforcement, but I didnt want to change my major in case it didnt work out. Right now I am a security officer at the DC Courthouse.

I thought NT and NMSUcks had a pretty heated thing going. Even though we were beating them, they were still pissin and bitchin.

Well, you would think they would be more hospitable towards Texas teams, since this state took thousands of their citizens in to escape the floods becuase their dip "s" NO mayor and LA gov effed up.

I remember that play. I had just finished running the flag in front of the team. We are folding it up, and I hear everyone cheering, I look up and see an NT player hauling butt down the sideline. IN aswer to the question, what has happened. I think its being drilled into the psyche of the team that its ok to lose OOC, just not SBC games. Which helps to explain the NOB games.

Well, my first thought is the same as many on the board. Wait untill they move up to D-1A then we can piss them off and create a rivalry. Until then, no way. Second, if we want SMUt to acknowledge us and start a rivalry, well I know a few ways we could get them to "acknoledge" us I like the idea of starting a rivalry with UH or RU, both are in the Houston area, so a rivalry could help create an avenue to go and steal recruits from each other. But heres an idea I dont know if anyone thought of, how about UTEP? Whoever it is, we need to find someone, and piss them off enough to start a rivalry. Whoever we choose, Im in

Thanks for reminding me AV. I want to clarify, that I feel the same way about the other SBC schools. I fear that we all are setting our expectations too low. Set a high, but achievable goal. Reach that, then set a new one and strive like you know what to get there. That is what we are trying to do, well, most of us, we are trying to set the bar higher and find a way to get there. I do hope the SBC schools win some OOC games, then I would love to see 1 or 2 more teams get bowl invites. See, fro 3 years, we had just one bowl team, last year we had two. Now we need to keep trying to send 2, and even 3. Let's raise the bar SBC.

Ok, I guess we need to reiterate the position that many on this board are taking. First, we have a less of a losing record than the rest of the SBC, so no s**t sherlock, of course you would like to have our record. Second, If you have read the rest of the threads, you would realize that we do RECOGNIZE the good that dd has done. Many, including myself, thank him and give him credit for it. Our problem is not the young roster, or the fact that we will probably win the the SBC with zero wins in OOC. Our problem is the continuing lackluster performance in OOC. We don't expect to win every OOC game. Didn't expect to beat Colorado, tu, Okie, or Kansas St, but the performance, or lack thereof, and the score is what is unacceptable. This is a continuing trend of NT. Even when we had Scott, Booger, AA, etc, the results are still the same. So I don't really think you can point to the OOC suckiness as to being young. Many have stated, that we want to raise the bar and go to the next level. And we want a coach who will take us there. If its dd fine, if not, lets find the coach who will. Did ya get that? Let me make this clearer: De dee dee, dee ddeeeee, deee, de dee dee deeee, de de deeee deee. How is that? Look, Im not trying to piss off everyone who is reading this. But many, are simply ignoring what is really being said, or taking it out of context and applying it to their own context to suit their statements.

Aside from being in the same conference for 4 years, you are right, there is no comparison, they've passed our rogram. And even when we were in the same conference, and beat them a couple of times, I remember them haning 50+ on us.

Let me just get out my checkbook and...oh wait, Im just a tiny $9,998,000 short.

Not to piss anyone off, because I know all of you here are diehard Mean Green fans, but here's a way around the seat cusion scene. Stand up, unless you have a medical condition that doesnt allow for standing the entire game. We ere standing in the alum section, and one of the french people (yellow shirts) came and told us to sit down. We just glared at her, sat down, but then stood right back up after she walked off. The tortillas, I know some of you like them, but they are just stupid. Its a cheap ripoff of ttu. If we want to rip them off, lets take their offense instead, at least thats useful.

I like them. I really didnt get a chance to get a good long look, but from what I saw, I like them.

See, thats where I think alot of the people on the board are mistaken. Noone here hates dd. We just want to see improvement. If dd is the one to take us to the next level, then we are fine with that. But we HAVE to start winning OOC.
