  1. Hell, it was ugly in '98-'02.... spent most of my life between the GAB and Wooten... aesthetics only a bomb shelter architect from the 70's could love! I'll all about this effort, anything we can do on this front is important and awesome - I'm just appreciate of how far we've come in the 20 years since I first graduated.
  2. I'm with @MeanGreenTexan. The UAB loss kills them dead. UTSA wasn't losing twice, and now we just need one win (and possibly not even that) and we're in the 'ship. Screw it, let's win 'em all. #GMG
  3. Opinions and biases completely out of the equation.... if we play in the conference championship game (and it would take an epic collapse not to), he's getting extended. Let's get onboard and enjoy the ride, this is a fun team that has great chemistry and infectuous energy. Only a handful of teams get to play for a championship in a given year. That opportunity - against that team in that building especially - would be SPECIAL. #GMG
  4. Great part of the country. Nice people too. Underrated area out that way = eastern washington. Back in my undergrad days I went up there for a road game against Idaho that we played in Pullman at Wazzu. Stayed in Spokane. That drive from Spokane to Pullman was just gorgeous. Beautiful place.
  5. Agree. Hell of a game. They gave it all. Double digit underdog my ass. We ran for 22 yards and came a quarter yard and absurd catch away from winning. This team is good, and we should be proud of them. #GMG
  6. This thread has to be a bit. Blame the QB who threw for 325 and 3 TDs, not the O line and running game who managed 22 yards, not the defense that couldn't get a stop or even slow the opponent down when it mattered.... no, blame the QB. My God man, maybe football ain't your thing. #GMG
  7. If Lance could have just stayed healthy he might have had a nice run... heck, I think he was leading the league or darn close in receptions when he blew his knee the last time. They loved him as a security blanket. But yeah, Jeff is a bonafide RB1. Different level. p.s.: No, i don't regret the money I dropped on my bad luck blue Dunbar 25 jersey. Just need to figure out a way to fit in it again...
  8. The absolute audacity to claim that was a hacking and run with it boggles the mind.
  9. Played well today. Got a good win. We're in first place in our conference in October. The guys are busting their ass and clearly if we've learned anything about Seth it's that he never loses the room. I love this school and this team and it's a source of happiness for me... so right now? Tonight? I'm enjoying the hell out of this. Let's keep it going! #GMG
  10. Hot Fire. And I am right there with @golfingomez... I'm well aware that half the high schools and a quarter of the colleges do the Texas outline thing, and I too get my pom poms up all almost every single time
  11. This is a very SMU "sellout".... that place looks half empty and there's a ton of purple. SMU students must have stayed on the Boulevard.
  12. Jaelon Darden, Jalen Guyton, Rico Bussey, Jeff Wilson, and a whoooooolleee lot of other folks beg to differ
  13. It's more systemic than that. We all love Mason Fine. He'll be a UNT legend forever. He was the QB. His persona and charm underdog persona was as likable as it gets. He also played with THREE NFL caliber WRs. An NFL caliber RB. An NFL caliber LT. Mason Fine was surrounded by likely the best overall collection of offensive talent in UNT history, or damn close. This is no way a slight to Mason Fine; he was the engine that made it go - but the point is that "upgrading from Aune" or developing a QB in house is great and all, but it's gonna take much more than that. We need to get some DUDES in here. We love a lot of the guys we have, and maybe some of them can end up being that.... but we need even MORE than a nice QB to take this thing where we wanna go.
  14. WKU @ Indiana North Texas @ UNLV Georgia Southern @ UAB Charlotte @ Georgia St Tennessee St. @ MTSU UCF @ FAU Louisiana @ Rice LA Tech @ Clemson UTSA @ Texas UTEP @ New Mexico
  15. Also, I fear you're right on the QBs. 21 points is still a little close for backups, especially the way the D is playing
  16. OAIII. 70 plus point pace offensively. Clinging to the good side of things lol... #GMG
