  1. I was wondering about this. How does one judge the academic qualification of ULM, MTSU, or Troy? How does one quantify their supposedly "sub-standard" standing? I really interested to know.
  2. Between this and "Cannonball", KSU fans have a fun time.
  3. That is hard to believe but would be terrific if it is true!
  4. I kinda like it but being green we would look just like Ohio U.
  5. He still looks like he could do some damage.
  6. Honestly, it was a nice run but not much of a block by the fullback on the second clip. He just kinda got in the way. Effective, but anyone could make that block.
  7. For the school to pull his scholorship I think it will take a lot more than an apology to the team. If he really wants to come back it will be a long hill to climb.
  8. The day OU hired John Blake as HC was a great day for Sooner haters.
  9. So far the Coog fans have been rather friendly in that thread.
  10. This is great! Besides the extra conditioning they can get accustomed to campus and college classes - maybe be able to take a bit of a lighter load that first semester.
  11. Really? 40 below 2.0??? No wonder McCarney talked about how bad things were grade wise. You may be right that the upheaval during the football season allowed guys to slip in the classroom. If it is grades then hopefully Carey can straighten things out and come back next season.
  12. I saw a promo of this show. It appeared to have nothing to do with the movie.
  13. Dickey is great ... if you only compare him to the other coaches since we moved back up. I think the two responses on the blog do a great job of refuting Vito.
  14. Thanks for the update. Good to have someone who is "in the know" up there.
  15. Honestly, in a few years we could be saying some of the same things about Mac. I would think being in Florida for a few years and having Chico as the offensive coordinator would solve any "too conservative" issues.
  16. If Joe Don Baker is the theme then go with The Natural.
  17. How about movie night at the new stadium? How about the Eagle head statue going into the stadium for the players to touch on the way onto the field? How about Tony Mitchell being on the U19 National Team?
  18. They're not. I think once we watch a game there we'll all see that it's as close as possible without being silly like Oklahoma State's field.
  19. It would be great if it was permanent. I'm thinking it's not. I may just be the way the fibers are pushed. Perhaps they are dressing it up for some pictures later today.
  20. If it's bronze then being outside will slowly turn it green. It'll be more of a blue-green but still ...
  21. Miniature wind turbine ... imagine the carnage from the severed limbs.
  22. Are you sure about this? Just think ... you're running low on meats ... and plop! Another bird on the grill. In fact, during the fall when birds are migrating you might not need to bring any meat with you.
  23. Big batteries cost big bucks and require lots of maintanence. We've come a long ways in battery technology in the last couple of decades but it still has a long ways to go. There are some technological hurdles, that when finally crossed, will usher in a wave of technology that changes our lives. One big one is greatly reducing the cost of moving people and equipment from the Earth's surface into space. A second one is producing huge amounts of power from a very small device. One example is to have a car engine that can fit in your palm. Another example is that we could build a plasma light saber but you would need a nuclear power plant strapped to your back. Once we're able to produce large amounts of energy in a small device we will change how people live their lives. Finally, the ability to store large amounts of energy in a small device, for a long period of time, will also change our world. I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.
