Not if you're in the Sun Belt ... then every game is meaningless because you've got no shot at a higher bowl. If we had a 16 or 32 team playoff then every conference champion could be invited along with some at larges. Then every team could begin the season knowing they could win the national championship no matter how unlikely it would be.

I don't think we're being "hesitant". I think it's a matter of timing. I'm sure they already know whey they will unveil the new uniforms. It will probably be some event with boosters.

I don't see where this helps A&M much unless they're afaid the B12 will implode in a few years and they might be left homeless. In the SEC they'll be a smaller fish in a bigger pool.

That's a lot of UNT talk in that article. I agree that SMU is a hurdle to joining CUSA. I don't see how CUSA would ever "close" the door on UNT when things are always changing.

I was looking at the pdf from a few years ago showing the concept of the new stadium. The concept is pretty close to what we have. I was very interested in the suite concept. In the suite there is a tv and pictures of the UNT football team. What's interesting is the uniform is not what it was during the Dodge era. It has a green helmet, green uniform, white pants. There's little to no piping. In fact, they look old school sort of like ... Alabama. Hmmmm ...

Considering that we haven't heard anything yet I'd assume we won't have a deal this year.
