Pretty sure Brewer muffed one in the first game. The fumble was a matter of bad mechanics - you can clearly see it bounce off his shoulder pads before it even gets to his hands. This has to be fixed no matter where he is on the field or it will continue to cost the team. Then of course there is the decision-making skills of when to catch or not. I want to criticize Biagi for doing so many interviews, but that publicity was nearly priceless for the university. But then two games later the ST unit seems to fall apart...

Regarding the celebrations, I saw one for sure that was clearly choreographed. That was annoying. Mason was not just limping between plays. The tv announcers even noted that it didn’t look like he was following through on his passes because he couldn’t fully put his weight on his front leg. The 10 yard passes were still on but he clearly could not heave it deep like that.

We can argue toughness, but we were not selfless or disciplined.

With his acl history I would guess he had a negative MRI?
