I am not comfortable with his recruiting methods and the culture he comes from that his father built. It’s gross and I value our standards and principles over a couple extra wins.

Hiring Briles would make me question the leadership of the AD and rethink my donation.

We need either grad transfers or someone that will have three years of eligibility after they sit out. Maybe two years if a top player at a position of long term need. Otherwise stick to high school recruiting and plugging with Dec grad JUCO.

But I am not going to put that man on a pedestal because he won a bowl game. Half of college football goes to a bowl and half of those win. This shouldn’t be the standard. LaTech has gone to a bowl six years in a row if I recall. And I think won them all. With this attitude we are like the fat girl at the prom: just happy to be here!
