  1. Recruiting of players has been going on in East Texas for years. If anyone tells you different, with all due respect they are lying
  2. I guess I misread where it said the Jury finds Baylor not responsible. Seems another case where some only agree when the verdict is one they like.
  3. Hate them all you want, but 2020 was a good year to be a fans of theirs All six of Liberty's athletics programs that completed their seasons during the 2020 calendar year, survived the craziness and walked away with a championship trophy. Liberty's men's and women's basketball both claimed ASUN Conference championships. The men's and women's track & field teams did the same with a sweep of the conference's indoor track titles to close out a historic coaching career. The Lady Flames swimming & diving program captured their third Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Women's Swimming & Diving Championships in program history, while the Flames football program won its second Cure Bowl championship in as many seasons. The men's basketball team finished the 2019-20 season by repeating as ASUN champions. The Flames closed out their 30-year run inside the Vines Center by capturing the title on their home court to finish off a program-best 30-4 overall record. The women's basketball team posted a 20-11 overall record and shared the ASUN Conference title with Florida Gulf Coast after the two were unable to meet in the scheduled title game at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The title was Liberty's 18th conference championship in program history and the first since joining the ASUN Conference. The men's and women's track & field programs sent legendary head coach Brant Tolsma out in style by posting convincing victories at the ASUN Indoor Track & Field Championships. Tolsma, who announced his retirement plans following the meet, picked up his 116th and final conference title on the day during his storied 34-year career as head coach. The women's swimming & diving program successfully defended their CCSA title with a sizable win over Florida Gulf Coast. The Lady Flames' 163-point win over FGCU took place in the same pool it won its first-ever conference title in Knoxville, Tenn., in 2014. The football program had a season of "firsts" in 2020, including the team's first-ever national ranking, first win over an ACC opponent, the best start in school history (8-0 to start 2020), first-ever win over a top-25 FBS program and back-to-back bowl game wins. Liberty defeated a pair of ACC foes in Syracuse and in-state opponent Virginia Tech. The two wins made Liberty the first non-Power 5 team to post a pair of wins over ACC schools in the same season since Houston in 2015. The Flames finished the season with a 10-1 record, tying the program's record for wins in a season (Liberty finished the 2008 season with a 10-2 record). With the Cure Bowl win over its former Big South rivals, Liberty became the second transitioning team in NCAA history to win consecutive bowl games during its first two full seasons at the FBS level.
  4. I like their 6 team - 5 P5 Champs and Highest G5 And Yes, this is a Shot at ND to join the ACC Full-time
  5. If G5 schools are patient there is a chance some very good HS players could be available at the end. The problem will be will they stay around or will they use G5 schools as a stepping stone.
  6. You have quite the man-crush on Sonny lately
  7. The problem might be finding a conference for their other sports.
  8. I would still think if UT made a move they would want to go West. They have a better chance of being one of the top teams. Again, they are probably arrogant enough to think they could go Independent.
  9. Why would anyone downvote someone doing something to give money to a cause like this. What an ass
  10. Not to bad. Some will complain about UTSA, but a lot of people seem to thing they will be really good this year. Wonder about TU
  11. Good takes. Mason had great stats, but you could argue, based on QB play at the time, Steve Ramsey was a better player. He lead the the teams to a 22-6-1. From the UNT site - By the end of his college career, Ramsey had been named to the MVC All-Conference team three times and owned NCAA passing records for most total offense yards, most touchdowns responsible for, most points responsible for, most completions, most passing yards, most touchdown passes, most pass attempts, most touchdown passes by a passer-receiver combination (30 with Ron Shanklin), and the most single-game yards per completion (a stunning 33.3 yards per completion against Cincinnati in 1968).Ramsey still ranks second all-time at North Texas in career passing yards (7,076), first in career 300-yard passing games (six) and first in career touchdown passes (69), and he owns the third, fourth, fifth, seventh, eighth, and ninth longest pass plays in school history. Most impressively, Ramsey's career win-loss record is 22-6-1. Ramsey was drafted in 1970 by the New Orleans Saints and played seven years in the NFL, six with Denver.
  12. This has nothing to do with NIL. This is a loophole to pay players. This is why I have said SMU could end up a big winner in the NIL scam
  13. The guy in Miami is willing to spend $540,000 a year on this benefit
  14. Maybe Texas and Notre Dame should form a 2-team conference
  15. I commented before SMU will be one of the big beneficiaries of the NIL
  16. Says all you need about how bad Bush's actions were??
  17. Everyone gets a free year, so no, I do not believe he has to sit Maybe this depth chart is not accurate?
  18. Finishes the Spring at Arkansas at ... Did not make the depth Chart 😎
