  1. Don’t know about Ft Worth’s contribution but these are Dallas area kids. More specially, SW Dallas County. 5 McDonalds AA from this metro area is crazy. Ronald Holland of Duncanville will be in the 2023 game.
  2. Why was he signed? He will be a trivia question on GMG in another 3-4 years. Shocked if he is in Denton after May.
  3. This can only help UNT. Coaches have to win before asking donors to step up. Hopefully, “Hit six” becomes a thing of the past.
  4. Tulsa offers 4 more Golden Bears: Taylor Starling, Jr. 6-0, 170 WR/DB David “Davo” Spruiells, Jr 5-9, 165 DB Jamarion Clark, Jr. 6-0, 160 DB Keith Smith, Jr, 6-4, 275, DT Kerry Williams II, So. 5-11, 165 DB Dylan Brown-Turner picks up offer from K State
  5. I have no idea what North Texas recruiting is like behind the scenes. I do know that SMU has OFFERED the following underclassmen at SOC: Kelvion Riggins, 6-1, 200 Fr. LB Jamyri Cauley, 6-3, 195 So. WR Randy Reese, 5-10, 180 Jr. WR Billy Walton, 6-3. 230 Jr. Edge Jayvon Thomas, 6-0, 180 Jr. CB Malik "Manny" Mohammad, Jr. 6-0, 175 CB Brandon Jones, 6-1, 190 So. LB Missed out on: Kevin Henry-Jennings, 6-1, 180 Senior QB - SMU signee Kyron Chambers, 6-1, 195 Senior CB - TCU signee Others to watch: Brione Ramsey-Brooks, Jr. 6-5, 370 OG Abdul Mohammad, Jr. 5-10, 180 DB I do know that UNT is interested in Dylan Brown-Turner, 6-2. 205 Jr. LB (Knee injury cost him all but 2 games) 15-1 Division II State Champions (2021) - Just sayin
  6. There’s about 5 guys at the end of the bench other schools should come after
  7. Jackson State is more visible in the Metroplex
  8. Helps to offset an otherwise mediocre class along with Perry.
  9. Much easier to only play 7-8 when you only have 7-8 kids on the roster that can play. The point was that he appears to just squander 3-4 scholarship a year to only use for practice. A lack of bench will bite him in the ass.
  10. Not even considering the 2022/2023 season, Seth Littrell is already a first ballot UNT Hall of Famer. No need to look at his overall record. Many will point to the number of times he has taken us to a bowl game. No other UNT coach would have done more. (Although you automatic go with a .500 record and a few 5 win schools make it) Move over Hayden Fry. Boys and girls, we are experiencing UNT history. Enjoy the ride and greatness of one Seth Littrell. I can see it a few years from now, fellow UNT Hall of Fame QB, Derek Thompson welcoming Seth as the newest member. As they say, only at North Texas.
  11. Was in attendance. Return a host of juniors for 22-23. 2 - **** & a ***
  12. Sam Houston State offer yesterday; SMU Mustangs today
  13. Saw him break loose up the middle and was 10 yards in front of everybody. A DB caught him over the next 20 yards. (No angle). Kid is quick but not what I define as a speedster. Wish I could run a 11.25 but that doesn’t win many events in and around Dallas. Very happy we will sign the kid. Speaking of which, watch out for a Red Oak 8th grader who beats everybody by 10-15 yards in the 200 and at least 5 yards in the 100. At this pace, this kid may run in the Olympics. I think his name is Braylon.
  14. Farrar is more a utility player. (Not a speedster or power back) Currently alternates in the backfield. Not the 18-20 carry back needed. Melachi is an upgrade over these other guys on the roster.
  15. This kid has been committed to Toledo for sometime now. I would think that he would be a great flip for the Mean Green. Don’t understand why other program aren’t beating his door down. He would give Oscar Addaway a run for his money as a true freshman. Transferred in to Duncanville last year from Odessa Permian and Carries the ball 30 times a game. Opponents can’t stop this kid. Man, I’d hate to lose a very good back to a lesser program out of the area. In fact, we need to hit Duncanville, move often along with DeSoto, Cedar Hill and SOC. Do we even try?
  16. It will always be beating Tennessee in Knoxville. Drilling Houston 28-0 at Texas Stadium. Beating West Texas State in front of 8k in the Pit to claim the #1 basketball team in Texas. The 2 victories at Tech in Football. The Conference Championship against Northeast Louisiana to advance to the first NCAA tournament. Beating the ranked Arizona St basketball team. Beating an Ira Terrell lead SMU basketball team in a sold out/standing room only Super Pit.
  17. Tylor Perry was clearly a good pickup. The rest of this 7 man class, not so much.
  18. Committed to Missouri St. Excellent arm strength and accuracy. Throws a very good deep ball. Good mobility but primarily a pocket passer. Very quick release. Does not look to run but is effective when needed. The only box unchecked is his size. Can’t be much more than 160 lbs. Great stats but could have been much higher had it not been for the blow out wins in district; where the clock ran continuously after half in each game. (Exception was the first game loss to Duncanville). Additionally, the dual running back tandem of Ke’undrae Hollywood and Qualon Farrar in a very balanced offense.
  19. Patterson looks beat down and is wealthy. I’d sit out at least 1-2 years and see how I feel later. ESPN always seem to be the landing spot for ex coaches. Not sure he would be up to a rebuild job.
