  1. The best thing of the CUSA move so far is the number of TV games (and better regional teams). I have been able to watch just about everyone of them on TV and not ESPN3 or meangreensports.com. Coverage + regional teams will pay great dividends to this program.
  2. This is a good idea to get butts in the seat, but sounds like we're implementing SMU attendance reporting ... not butts in the seat, but tickets sold! Curious, can a student get in at the gate if they did not pick up a ticket? If so, then this is a clever idea to get the students to pick up a ticket...
  3. Should have added, it doesn't matter if he kneeled or not. If the ball touches the ground while the ball carrier has control, it is down. The ground can not force a fumble. Any way you look at it, total screw job.
  4. The refs definitely blew that one. Regardless if his knee was down or not, though apparent from Texas Stranger's link it was, the refs blew the whistle. The play is dead at that point. They screwed the pooch on resetting the ball. If the ASU players got in the way, then penalty. That is inexcusable. I wonder what actions, if any, will result with the officiating crew.
  5. I'm a duck hunter, so I enjoy the show. But I do not expect too much from it. The show has to be scripted. But it is simple humor and strong family morals. It makes me laugh. Then again, I can also relate to a lot of it. It is my family upbringing almost to a "T". I watched them when they just had the Duck Commander show on the Outdoor Channel. So I miss the hunting scenes.
  6. From a personal acquaintance, one FF confirmed dead, her ex son-in-law. Thoughts and prayers are with the West community and our brothers of West VFD and all their first responders. RIP brothers.
  7. Can you imagine the meltdown around here if we get beat by them next year.
  8. Watching that run reminded me of Forest Gump where he is returning kickoffs and he does a hard 90 degree turn. Exactly what Jimmerson did with the arm swing and all. We should start a RUN JIM RUN chant. LOL
  9. In the second half it seemed we were bringing it every down and pressuring and getting hands on Broadway. He couldn't run and his throws were off, but he still almost made some deep shots. The D stepped up in the second half.
  10. By the time he got to the end zone I felt like I was running right beside him ... I came out of my chair running at the TV doing the happy dance with arms and legs flaring! LOL
  11. Just after the failed 4th and foot at the goal line, I posted my last message in the chat saying this team is pathetic (meaning tonight's showing). I had pretty much written off the season. Seriously. Then I came back to see a hell of a game! Proud to say they made me eat some crow! I think I haven't been this pumped and excited about a Mean Green win since the 2002 bowl!! D stepped up and our playmakers made some big plays. Great game! Our guys played lights out and pulled out the win. BTW, Apogee looks amazing on TV and the crowd sounded pretty dang good. Looked like a lot of students stuck around to the end. Was great to see them singing the fight song with the team at the end. Definitely the highlight of the season. No way I am going to bed anytime soon! GO MEAN GREEN!
  12. I like that they have very nice clean bathrooms. Other than that, my daughter loves the place and that dang beaver, so we stop. Good Variety to chose from. Where else can you go and get beef jerky and beaver nuggets?
  13. I didn't quite understand some of the play calling. Special teams sucks again.
  14. Jimmerson is fun to watch. He has some moves ... It was fun watching him making alot of those K-State defenders miss tackle and miss in spectacular form..
  15. If he has 3 to play 3, does that include this year that he has to sit out? I would think it is 3 to play 3 after this year? You have 5 to play 4, right? He didn't play first year at Kansas, then sitting out this year. That leaves 3 more years to play after this sit out year. Not winning the starting position at JC is a concern, but I like the fact he decided to enroll now. He has this year to practice with the team learning the playbook. Next year, I could see him playing behind DT getting some experience here and there and then taking over after DT for his last 2 years. But can he beat out McNulty? lol
  16. Let's try this again... I'd like to see a touchdown in the first half
