  1. Not sure what you mean by what I have said is hypocritical. I don’t think you know what that word means. But what I do think is that you do the same thing you seem to be critical of which makes you no more than a noisy gong. In all my 23 years posting on this board I have only pushed ignore on two others and they were both trolls from other schools. So congrats on being on par with them. I got no time for your arrogance. I pray that our lord and savior Tylor have no mercy on your soul. and jokes on you…. I live 1,500 miles away from mommy. -Never ignore your own advice.
  2. Two years ago Perry was clearly the ‘starter’ but didn’t ever start. He was a key cog in the lineup but came in 3-5 minutes after play. also, I’d recommend you stop with your final line. It’s annoying, arrogant and hypocritical especially coming from you. You just as anyone go with ‘a good story’. I prefer not to ignore you but when people post shit liners like this it’s just easier to ignore your drivel rather than talk anymore on it than I already have.
  3. This is where I was going with it. And thank you!
  4. The bottom line is that Allen/Sissoko, Buggs and Edwards simply doesn’t replace Abou, Kai, and Perry. These replacements bring the level of play down compared to years past.
  5. Sadly this might be a defining game for our season. No real leaders to step up and take over and finish…
  6. I hate to say it but it looks like we just aren’t that good this year compared to the past four years. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  7. I thought most of these schools don’t really make a profit. And how does it work when some programs completely subsidize programs that can’t support themselves? when will title nine get out of college athletics?
  8. I came from Idaho for two games this year. I would love to keep it that way but good lord it has to be worth it. I am not a fan of doing all that for L's.
  9. This! We were also 13 points this year from being 2-10.
  10. God prefers Ze/zir pronouns these days. Please respect zir decision.
  11. Yes, But not many have to deal with as many that has entered the portal as we have. I appreciate your optimism. I truly do and I want nothing more than my grumpy, negative ned self to be proven wrong with my pesimism.
  12. Hodge is fine. I have no concerns with him leading. Sussoko has to improve. We have had some really good people at his position the past 6 years but we have taken a step back. I was hopeful that it wouldn’t be the case when he held it sufficiently during the NIT run. And we will need to find a closer come next year. I am not holding my breath for this year. Sadly a few of our games like last night where we have the lead under two and can’t finish it out. I don’t blame the coaching on this one like some have. we just don’t have what got us over the hump last year with losing KH and TP.
  13. My thoughts exactly. Maybe it will come into its own as we start up in January. once Jones and Scott were out we knew we were toast. I don’t have a lot of confidence with Buggs on offense at the end there. Just not reliable. Gotta get better.
  14. I AM SO FREAKING HAPPY I GET TO MAKE THIS ONE IN PERSON!!! Since I am a few miles away (FINALLY) I get to cheer on the mean green in person with my fam (and a few conference mate alum - ECU). *Edit- I do get to see one home game a year over christmas break and I have came back a few times for the conference tourny.... but it is nice to just see them in the same town as I live these days for once.
  15. STORY TIME: when he came he was an ineligible player so he wasn’t technically on the team his first semester here. Which meant he was allowed to play intramurals for our dorm and he would do anything to hoop. So he joined us and our really bad coed team. But he was the coolest about it. He would just hang under the rim and rebound balls and give them to girls to shoot over and over. And for fun he would take mid court shots and hit them as if he were doing a simple ten foot jump shot. he was always good natured about it despite knowing we were the worst of the worst. He won us a few games off of half court shots. story time 2: for a few games Chris, Tony and like three other guys would come play intramural football with us. We were middle of the road coed rec league team in the residence hall leagues. I played QB because not a lot of people knew how to organize teams. But when Tony was my receiver he would just run to the endzone and I would throw it up. And I mean UP and like men among boys he would climb this invisible ladder and comedown with it. No one had a chance. And if our down and distance ever put us too far back, we would just have our all state QB in Jones to throw these bombs. Great memories but if JJ ever found out they joined us he would have murdered them.
  16. It would be nice to see Morris use the portal as an asset this year instead of a deficit to our program.
  17. His final year was still arguably the most talented roster we had ever had and in typical North Texas fashion we completely destroy it.
  18. I still remember a guy shooting a three. Tony at the free throw line jump through the roof to block it. And I thought… that’s physically impossible.
  19. I think he means it isn’t beyond the possibility that a UNT team can win enough to be with those kind of teams. It is a realistic hope. It has to be/ should be. Otherwise, what are we really even doing?!
  20. This is why I am in wait and see mode and refuse to give a dime till I see a department with serious expectations and creates real accountability.
  21. You mean following a CUSA championship title game match? No. This is a big disappointment.
