I have always appreciated Rick’s love for this school and I wish we had more like him.

I feel like this thread got better somehow.

He made big pressure shots. I miss that and that is a thing this team just doesn’t have. 😞 hopefully next year will change because close games seem to be common with a RH coached team. Which I don’t mind at all. I just want that closer.

Nah. Talking about things he could do better sure. But if it is a question of if his seat is getting warm… no way. He will keep us successful. We had some big holes to fill from last year. And we still need to fill some of those. I am confident he will get us there.

If Edwards is the player I think he is… I imagine he has higher expectations for himself than even what criticism that comes for him. also, no one is saying we would be any good without him. We are just stating a clear fact of the matter… he hasn’t come through with the game on the line. That’s pretty indisputable. And we can’t pretend that it isnt a very different pressure when it is a scenario like that vs much of the rest of the game…. Even if it is because of him that we are ‘in the game’. regardless of all that, it doesn’t change the fact that he hasn’t hit the big shot yet.

When the game is on the line… Edwards doesn’t hit.

Edwards is the least clutch scorer I have ever seen who can score but not when it matters most.

So is those Jones last last year? Or are we able to squeeze more out of him because of Covid stuff??

Truly ignoring is best. Maybe he will go away. God, we can only pray. But one thing is certain, he isn’t worth your time. Fools like this come and go. And ones that enjoy trolling others are pathetic and incorrigible. Dude offers nothing of substance. I appreciate what you and others have to say on here. And I love our created community. Some of us have been here the better part of two decades. While fools like that make it not as fun, complete dismissal is a much preferred choice of action. Then we can get back to the reason we are here… to discuss things we love with people we enjoy.

Doesn’t create turnovers. Doesn’t defensively rebound. If you mean by play really good defense means just to run with a player than he is exceptional.

That question has been asked since he has got here. when I see him on the court I know we are in trouble.

Boy we can’t close to save our lives.

I hope they find a way to get Buggs involved in the second.

Good lord these last two possessions were frustrating.

I could definitely see class not being a big motivator for him…. It kinda makes me laugh because I think on it and am like… oh yeah, that totally happened. But when people refer to discipline I don’t know if that is what they are usually referring to out of college athletes. As for BB, he seemed more dialed in than anyone on the team. what other off the field stuff are you referring to? What I saw when I was around was that players seemed to like him a lot. That team of Jones last and benford first was closer and more cohesive than any other I witnessed while I was there. At least again, from my perspective. The players seemed to respect him and like him a lot. And Tony on several occasions took the blame for things I know he didn’t do just to protect his guys. I admired him a lot more than many other players that came and gone.

I guess so. All I know is when I lived in the same building with him and dealt with the team when he was here, I never saw anyone more basketball focused than him. Dude had more heart than many. Just from where I sat… which was kinda close 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have been hard on Buggs this season. And I will gladly eat my crow. Great job Buggs!
