  1. Right on MT1! Thanks for the info.
  2. I didn't know that; pretty dang impressive. Alabama would be second, MGN. To the Crimson Tide's credit, they have been in their current stadium since 1929 and never had the luxury of playing AA teams/playoffs. HerdZone, do you happen to know Marshall's home record since 1997 when ya'll moved up to D1/FBS? Also, any idea why there is a discrepancy between the record you quote (stated on the Wiki) when compared to the record quoted on Marshall's official athletics site? (welcome to the board)
  3. Can't speak for the others (without looking it up), but I can confirm UTEP's is on their campus.
  4. It is an on going joke among Minerland that the orange will outnumber Red at most Dallas games. I don't know if that is 100% true, but I have been to a couple SMU-UTEP bball games (in Dallas) and it is consistent with my experience. I also don't think it's a knock on SMU attendance so much as praise for the Dallas-area UTEP alumni base. They are one of their Alumni Association's largest and most vocal chapters. Anyways, I would love to see more Mean Green in the stands when @ SMU. It's very doable, no?
  5. Says he won't be able to live blog during fall practice. bummer.
  6. I was giddy after reading the wiki on Lippi. (I think both would be awesome).
  7. It's open. Hours = Ticket office hours.
  8. 2 HCs later, and the Great Dickey is still haunting us.
  9. I went there Tuesday. It's not all the same stuff as the bookstore, but there is some carryover. I think between Voertman's and Bookstore, that is as good as we'll get. I wish the Bookstore would carry more Nike/UA selection; just my opinion. There's a specific shirt design in mind I would like to see, but what is out there is okay. **edit, to add to what Kram posted below I don't think they are nearly done stocking the place. There is just so much room. And I like to think that we will be seeing more as the Nikes/UAs/Champions have more time to play with our logos/colors/etc....
  10. link Just a thought: I know Vizza threw for 8 TDs against Navy. Does that not trump Cobb's 45?
  11. The talent is going to win games, but it takes leaders and experience to win tournaments. We'll see.
  12. To their credit, Boise has been building that program for 20 years with a smart administration and a dedicated fan base that has nothing else to do in potato land. I think TCU is the best example a program built on grooming underrated players. Programs like Boise and - in the 90s - Fresno State fueled their success off players that sat on the fence academically. TCU never had that luxury.
  13. Let's see how Vito writes when we are winning.
  14. ...XPs, that is. Pretty wild. MGS link
  15. I don't think they're asking for in-depth analysis on DT's last jog from the lockers to the 20 yard line. I'm not in the anti-Vito camp - I don't mind the DIckey rehash - but I kinda agree with some in this thread: a quick bit about how good a newcomer looked catching a ball from Osborne would be refreshing.
  16. Skip to 4:56 for some Trice 1-on-1:
  17. It wasn't a stadium webcam, it was "new facility reconnaissance."
  18. Not that I disagree with you, but bball is not totally devoid of opinion polls. When all is said and done and, most likely, no one goes undefeated...someone gets left out. Utah State comes to mind. Regardless of championship formats and polls, someone will always feel left out. And I don't think that should be college football's priority right now. My biggest beef is the money distribution, but that's a topic for another thread/day.
  19. Simmah donna? You mean people like Mean Joe Greene and Fry? If so, I agree. Call me new-fashion, but I don't think Blakeley is in the same tier as those guys. If I never read this message board, I wouldn't know his name. Most of my UNT friends wouldn't have a clue. It's only my opinion. Not trying to stir the pot
  20. I can't dispute whether Blakely is the best coach we've ever had, but CMJ is right. Court-naming needs to be reserved for someone who wins some postseason games. Preferably someone who wins many over several years.
