How many threads the past week has this board seen regarding A&M/SEC/BIG12 rumors, and you're asking people in these woods to keep it realistic? I, on the other hand, am awaiting the awesomeness of reading a UNT-to-SEC discussion.

If you've been following the Green Gang's practice updates, you would have caught Downing having a BIG day this past week. As far as having a safety with long arms/range: it reminds me of Neon McGee. We could def use another one of his kind!

DMac is doing the right thing: he is using all his resources to get fans in the seats. This means not only putting a good product on the field, but also attaching himself to the proud history of his employer. It is no different than any bball hire I've seen in El Paso, in regards to Don Haskins. Not entirely true. A few years ago I remember a player coming onto the board and explaining that they embraced the "us against the world" mentality. In a way, isn't that similar to the underdog mentality?, a mantra I know you love. It is unfortunate that it permeated towards the fans, too. Yeah, that's pretty terrible.

Do you have one email that is easy to manage, or do you have like to keep 5 different email accounts? Each one used depending on what you are registering for.

Houston had a great run w/Andrew Ware. They were top 15, in the SWC. Similar teams to the Big XII, and NCAA probations to match!

Depends on your criteria/priorities.

You don't have to look to the future to see that geography is way down the priority list regarding conference alignments.

I think Screaming Eagle is right, Side Show. I'm right there with you on your points, but they do not justify budget cuts. I think we can all agree that these cuts do not solve the problem, and the more resources we have available for education, the better.
