I love the Super Pit. Love the green seats. I guess my only complaint would be the low lighting.

SIGNED - 2012 JUCO - Keith Coleman - 6'10" C
greenminer replied to cdizzle86's topic in UNT Basketball Recruiting
The flip side of all this is any kid playing the 3 or 5 around Mitchell is probably going to look pretty damn good. Can you imagine how much fun it is for these guys to ball with Tony? He probably makes the game so much easier/more fluid for them. -
UNT swaps players (Odoh, Robinson out, Coleman, Hardwick in)

Skill set development Strength and conditioning Maturation nah, it's none of that. Too complicated. -
Don't underestimate trolling: the SMU subspecies is especially quick to adapt.

How many SBC Championships have we won?
greenminer replied to GreenFlag's topic in Mean Green Athletics
You either enjoy piling up word count, or you don't care to read thread titles (SBC Championships), or posts: Plumm is resident blogger around here. I hear WordPress is free. -

That's it! We've linked Grape Chewey Gum and Cracker Barrel breakfast to CUSA chatter. This is the thread moment I have been waiting for.

Neb. chancellor says presidents could veto four-team playoff

I sure hope you're right, but I'm honestly pessimistic about the whole thing. One way or another, I think we are going to find out. -
I think we got 1 or 2 seasons out of Scott and just Scott. ....anyone else miss him? If not him, the consistency we had while he was here?

Sunday night UNT Hoops notes (Odoh update)
greenminer replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Has a kid ever asked for a release, been denied, and thus played on the team anyways? Seems like that would be bad vibes.- 37 replies

Com'on Odoh; you've got a great opportunity here and don't want to lose a year of eligibility. Give Bedford a chance.- 37 replies

MTSU's Reaction to not getting into C-USA (funny)
greenminer replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
I think someone on this board linked to a similar one done for LaTech? Looks like things worked out fine for them... -
I don't know what I'll do with myself. Probably throw on a nice hat and give all the marching band members high fives. BTW, the Director of Marching Miners did his last degree at UNT.

I liked it when we duked it out with them the early Belt years. Despite low budget, they were competitive and gave us some of the best, most thrilling games I can recall. That being said, a second go-round with them doesn't guarantee anything. They haven't seemed to change much (maybe I'm missing something), while we have added so much regarding facilities, staff "upgrades", etc...

It's not different than most boards I've seen: there tends to be one or two schools in particular that draw the ire and obsession of some fans. You're just having fun riling people up, and are now on my setting's ignore list.

SMU hires Brown to win, for attention -- but not the right kind

Let's all find a message board that has no hypothetical threads, filters out any speculation and does not think their school is above anyone else.

I never frequented Chicos, but enjoyed the tacos at the McRae location. The others didn't taste the same.
