  1. I love how they would kick me out of practice and such because “it’s a secret” and other BS, but in reality the offense was as bland as unseasoned chicken and couldn’t do anything against average defenses. I just don’t understand not hiring qualified people LIKE AN OC OR QB COACH!! Bloesch is a great coach, don’t get me wrong, but this seems very very desperate. EDIT: this wasn’t a shot at the new hire, I think it’s solid but I just find it odd.
  2. I use that a lot more and it can get pretty active during the game. Fans are starting to realize
  3. I saw some cheap flights to Birmingham for our game against UAB, might have to bring a buddy and see a matchup that could dictate who gets the 1 seed and harder path to the championship. I would rather get the 2 seed because you play the 1 in the East, who will be pretty average.
  4. Have fun supporting this shit show, it’s not fun. Makes me not have fun, I like seeing wins and good play, which basketball brings.
  5. WE ARE A BASKETBALL SCHOOL DAMNIT!!!! It’s getting to a point where I’ll buy season tickets just because I’m mentally insane for supporting this BS program. It’s unbelievable. But that doesn’t mean we can’t bring more support for Grant McCasland and his squad. They all have earned it, yet we are still here worrying about what James Seth Littrell will do in the portal and why Wren Baker hasn’t fired him and restarted this program. I simply don’t give a sh*t about this football program anymore. Thanks for attending my TedTalk.
  6. Yep let’s fire him right now in late January!
  7. I don’t typically comment during games, but I’m at home and why not. Bad half, but I could kiss Aaron Scott. Only dude that has energy and is playing great.
  8. He should be playing Saturday apparently. We NEED him lol, this is apparent after this sloppy first half.
  9. Nothing changed from 2020, culture still isn’t great, coaches (Littrell Mainord etc) are still airheads who won’t change their ways, and other stuff that makes this program a disaster.
  10. If you ask the majority of UNT students, that’s fit. We don’t fat shame in 2022 #cancelled
  11. MTSU, La Tech, FIU, WKU (yeah shocker), and FAU. Very 50/50 on UTEP/FAU, but FAU has been on fire recently. I’ll take Western because they don’t lose consecutive games at home at all, but I don’t want it to happen. We need UAB to basically win out or lose once (preferably to NT) for a chance at a 2 bid league.
  12. Mr Murphy has a point, in a way. We have good talent inside the program right now, but we aren’t replacing anything from the losses, even if not very big. We will have no depth, like many other years, and that won’t win any games. I know, you can throw tomatoes at me for this reference, but look at SMU. They are loading up, once again, and we are sitting there offering dudes in this class very late with no FBS offers and very little traction. Of course they could work out, but Seth has swung and missed so many times the past 3 years with transfers and recruits it’s insane. SMU is the leader for former 5 star transfer from Bama, Cremar Wheaton. Meanwhile we are in the mix for……………. My point is, Mr Murphy is right more than overreacting.
  13. I just need something… well I’m not that desperate, but Coy is really good. Loved watching him in the state championship.
  14. Stevenson is a physical forward that will make Bell work. Hopefully this doesn’t mean Foul trouble for Bell and Scott because I have a small feeling that could be a case. I doubt it, but if it’s not fouls, they need to be ready to rebound. Stevenson has 3 double digit rebound games. Luckily Bell and Abou have been equally or even better than that recently. Overall, USM is just bad. Defensively one of the worst in CUSA, and if we can play like we have the last few games to start on offense with Drez hitting shots early etc, this should be a game where NT dominates.
  15. The last 2 crowds were the best we’ve had this year. It’s still well below what I want and should be, but it’ll get there. I would assume…
  16. Yeah this too with the fact we have a travel partner in Rice. 2019-20 we played Rice on a Monday at home before a 2 game home series and played Rice on the first Saturday of February due to not playing back to back like most do. Example is UTSA and UTEP played on Thursday in San Antonio and Sunday in El Paso. For some reason we don’t do that
  17. CUSA scheduling, along with Covid changing games, has been wired this year. With pod play gone and divisions now a thing, we don’t play 1 of the teams from the East so it makes it where we play another team without playing their travel partner. Example is we play at FAU then at UAB. We don’t play FIU and we already played MTSU who is the UAB travel partner. It looks more like the AAC with now they do conference schedules, but Covid definitely has an impact on how it was set up, along with pod play being gone. I personally liked Pod play, and it should’ve been implemented this year due to the conference trying to get 2 bids, because it pitted us against the top of the conference but oh well. In conclusion, Covid and Pod play
  18. We did lose to Buffalo, therefore we beat ourselves… Oh wait I’m not Andrew
  19. Well he's gone no matter what happens, I'm like 99% sure he has 0 eligibility left
  20. Exactly what I was thinking. UW was a much faster paced program offensively, and guys like Bell and Abou seemed to already have things locked down coming into the season.
  21. 100% Need to handle USM with ease and prepare for a blood bath on Saturday. No injuries hopefully on Thursday.
  22. UAB isn’t a good matchup for us, if I’m being honest. I was absolutely nothing to do with them in the tournament until the championship. And Jelly Walker is by far the front runner for POTY, and Baby Shaq/Tylor Perry/Thomas Bell should be right behind…
  23. First you have to win bowl games, conference championships etc The Vandals of Idaho have a bowl win, with 9 wins, more recent than smu winning a bowl
