Glad to see people starting to be concerned about the value we're getting out of our coach's compensation package. I'd guess whoever asked for that to be written into the contract didn't fully understand how to tie jet usage into a compensation package. $100k is maybe 2-2.5 average length domestic round trips for a family of 4 on a small/medium private jet. Littrell isn't exactly rolling up in a new Gulfstream 450/550/650 unless G Brint is giving him a hell of a deal on time in his personal or a Ryan Co. jet. And I hope he's restricted against flying in anything prop driven that is too small (anything smaller than a King Air)... its just too dangerous in my personal opinion. He is the "CEO" of our football program after all. He should have asked for hours per month/year on a specific class/make of jet, not a dollar value of usage. Or if it its dollar value since UNT doesn't have a jet to give him time on, I'd ask them to pay the yearly fractional membership fee in total and get X dollars a month/year toward usage. He would have received more value out of that setup.

Or they're wealthy aging folks who just want their name on a building and their Estate Tax liability to be as close to or below the $11m threshold as possible. I'd rather give a few million to UNT football and take a deduction while I'm living than let the IRS steal from my estate after I kick the bucket. I tend to think they would have donated either way. It's also more of Wren and the UNT Pres being more effective at getting money from donors (look at the huge University giving increases this year, even without the G Brint contribution) than RV was. Its probably not because Seth woo'ed them with his normal Coach Taylor Friday Night Lights impressions.

Then there is something else going on... More than ever, I'm convinced there are folks out there getting $5000 sets of 40yd line Hub Club tix for less than comparable 100 level seats. Maybe I should have attempted to negotiate... Who knows. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Two coaches who win Championships. And both have an attitude that has been showcased before. They're not regularly vocal, but they'll lash out more than Ole Seth.

I don't disagree, but it's nice to have such a vocal coach with a personality for your fan base to get behind. Littrell has as much (or less) personality as a Pet Rock. But I'm sure he's a swell guy.

As someone who actually pays full boat for Club seats, I'm begining to think few in the Club actually pay for the seats and that there's some sort of program, that wasn't extended to me, where people are getting absurdly discounted seats. Not sure if each suite also has 10+ club level seats attached to it or if the AD just holds a bunch for people who never show. The club sections near me have had consistent empty seats for the past few seasons and when you call the ticket office, they'll tell you they're not available for single games to buy. I've talked to a number of professors and Dept Deans/Assoc Dean/Etc while eating. Maybe they all get half price club seats with no MGSF contribution required. The group in front of me has multiple pairs of seats totalling at least $7500 a year if I'm to assume I know what at least one set in my section costs. There's no doubt in my mind they aren't paying that much for seats. Anyways... Thanks for attending my rambling about my Club Level Seats Conspiracy. This team still isn't that good and our AD probably should fire people. Thx.

We will not beat 2019 UAB. They aren't 2018 UAB, but they're better than 2019 UNT. We'll be lucky if the OL can keep Mason protected enough to be well to play that last game.

No. They have an interesting Redshirt Sophomore QB. The rest of the their weapons SHOULD have been worse than ours. Still: No. If they're "good", dare I ask what we are? Hot Garbage? We can barely manage good press not inflating our feable minds off the field and four quarters of play on the field... I wouldn't talk "Destiny" with this team. Think a lot less macro please. We aren't back... But the 2019 Team + Littrell Homers are inspirational in their blind eye towards reality.
