  1. I'd love to have him but I don't know if any RB really wants to come into our RB room right now. As much as I focus on QB play, I know the bread and butter of this team this season should be the run game. We have at least 3 RBs that would start at most P5 schools.
  2. "The former Argyle standout went 6-for-11 for 85 yards and hit Tommy Bush for a 38-yard touchdown. Gunnell went 8-for-12 for 89 yards and connected with Qualon Farrar for a 20-yard touchdown." I like that second stat line way more than the first, especially considering Gunnell was working with the 2s.
  3. A good question. You should ask the QB coach where the TEs are on the reads for the QB....oh, wait. We don't have a QB coach.
  4. If that's his plan, fine. Just seems like a playtime downgrade. And maybe he wants that.
  5. Imagine transferring and not even competing for a starting spot lmoa.
  6. Littrell is hyper paranoid. He's always operated this way. Almost like he hates the fans.
  7. It's true. I've been a few times because a good buddy went there. It's fun except for having to try not to puke from all the red and blue. The good news is you don't have to watch them play, just stay on the boulevard and drink.
  8. Gunnell has the credentials, the arm, etc. Decision making? that is something that is learned, but in his tape he didn't do terrible for a young starter against good defenses. Seth took a chance on a relatively unknown in Mason Fine and that propagated into UNT hall of fame type stuff. I'm not saying Gunnell is the future, I'm saying if he isn't, we're dead in the water. Plays past 20 yards, we didn't have a qb that could reliably complete them in the past two years. Those plays are part of what made our offense so dynamic. If Gunnell can learn the playbook, which he's transferred a couple of times, then maybe he should get the starting nod. No idea how camp is going and would have loved to see him come in the spring. Put another way, Aune better have a master knowledge of the playbook and have worked on his long throws. Aune can be accurate. Gunnell has a cannon that Aune does not however. If Gunnell doesn't start, I suspect a flailing Aune will lead to a benching. I would be happy to be wrong and Aune be the stud I think he can be, especially with his experience and rapport with the offense. However, I believe that moment was for last year, and it was only half realized. In short:
  9. I think maybe he just doesn't want to be in that position.
  10. A reasonable man may do unreasonable things in unreasonable circumstances.
  11. I'm sorry, but how did we get stuck with Dr. Phil?
  12. Oh shit, can confirm it's on ESPN+. I have it as well.

  15. "Offensive Play of the Day Wide receiver Xavier Ubosi made a crazy contested catch above his helmet in tight coverage on a 40-yard throw from quarterback Mason Fine. " https://www.riderville.com/2022/05/22/coors-light-training-camp-report-day-4/
  16. Whoever puking eagled this reply deserves to be banned. This is the most correct take ever.
