Everybody that goes to the Star for the games, check your purchase at the refreshment stand. I noticed they charged me 16.5% sales tax. I brought it up and at first denied it, then a I drove it up to the food services director who acknowledged it, but said it was a glitch. They would fix it by tomorrow. That is BS. They are fleecing people. I asked how they are going to refund all that extra money. GE said it would automatically refund. Check your sales tax.

I love this type of basketball. Much like what I played back in the day…sans the shot clock.

Hate the delivery method. I bought the entire tournament, so they send me an individual pass for each session. You have to go in and accept each ticket.

I have not had that experience. A little redneck, maybe, but usually very friendly. La Tech puts good teams out to play, and it is an easy 3 hour drive. I would welcome La Tech.

If money is the only factor in playing late season games, how many players with draft prospects should sit out of the game Monday…for a stupid trophy. That doesn’t give those guys a big jump in the draft. Just walk away and wait for the draft. they are a college football player…line was said earlier…finish the job with your teammates

Is it possible that his title at Iowa St was a title only and he spent 90% of his time working on the field. The team can only hire so many LB coaches by title. I am betting he wants to be a coach and spent most of his time learning that craft, while doing his titles job. who in here does more at work than their title identifies, especially if you are trying to get to the next level

The Mean green Club changed to the MGSF because of the change in tax laws, Not because Wren did anything. You cannot take tax exemptions on certain donations like to the MGC, but you can for scholarships…MGSF. Or some such change to the tax code.

A lot of coaches and staff have bonus money based on winning bowl games. Players that have no chance of going pro most certainly want to win the last game they ever play. The competitive nature of these guys by nature is to want to win. it matters!!!
