  1. The Sanders experiment will blow-up within 2 years….maybe next year. He is all hype and is going to kill his son trying to get him drafted. It is going to get ugly….IMHO
  2. Look at the stats. He outplayed Harris hands down. The 2 INT’s were an issue, but so was the fumble on the 3 yard line early.
  3. So, you fire our current DC in less than 1 season. What coach of any caliber would hire on to that situation. I want you to come on and “fix” our defense….and if you don’t do it immediately, we will fire your ass and go find somebody else. great incentive to come here dont throw that USC fired their DC. How long has he been there?? SC was supposed to be competing for a Natty….not rebuilding under a new staff.
  4. Not even sure why you support, or even follow the program if it drives you so crazy. you know the Rangers really sucked 2 years ago….made some changes, and didn’t suck as much last year, and made some changes, and BOOM they are World F’ing Series Champions. They got better incrementally until they were the best of the best.
  5. I get the frustration…specially on the 1st half. However, if the DC is So Bad, how do you explain the adjustments on the 2 me half? I would be we are a top 70 defensive team in the 2nd half. Maybe top 50. I think given a season to get the defense out together, we will be fine. the rules are set-up to make the game offensive oriented….defense is hard pressed and hand-cuffed by the rules. If you look at CFB stats, average team scores are 31 points per team per game, across all teams. We are giving up 36.6 after 8 games. And if you take out the 1st 2 games where we just were not prepared, we are giving up 31.5 pts per game. The last 4 game are 30 pts per game. looks to me that we are going in the right direction. PLUS, we are scoring 35.5 pts per game
  6. Good Sign I was driving North Bound on HWY 35 at the Carrollton/Lewisville border. The U of Memphis equipment truck was broken down on the side of the road!! Going too fast to get a photo....but this has to be a good sign....right?!?!
  7. Great Tarrant County for me.
  8. Black lot will be representing. Candice is bringing g Spooky Snacks.
  9. Other than the score. The Memphis QB is a Denton boy. He should bring a nice crowd to support him. What would be great for recruiting is if UNT can handle Memphis and hold some of the local talent to play here. This might be our biggest High Profile game at home in years!!!! Great for recruiting.
  10. Here is the email I just sent Christa, I was given your contact information to ask about the Homecoming Parade. I am an alumnus with 2 degrees from UNT. My wife and I always enjoyed going to the HC parade, and were disappointed when it was cancelled….in part, we were told, to Covid. I can get that. Now I being told that it is because of the lack of participation, too much clean-up, and environmental issues. That, I do not understand. Universities across the country have HC parades. How do they avoid these issues? Clean up is not a valid excuse. Regarding participation, I will agree the crowd has shrunk over the years. I would put that on the University about promoting the event, not only to students, alumni, but the surrounding community. The economic impact is surely a hit for business on the square. Get creative. Have the Greek community compete for prime spots on the route with competition….do something. Those of us who donate to the University and athletic department were not consulted on this decision. UNT refuse to do the things that make other Universities stand out as the standard. UNT needs to be part of that standard. Can you please explain why we are not having a parade? Not a boiler plate answer, a real explanation as to what factors lead to the decision. Who is the person that we need to reach out to regarding this? Please help those of us who want this understand. Thank you, Steven King
  11. What email did you send it to? I will participate in this quest
  12. If you look at the season start for both UNT and Tulane, they are pretty close. Actually, we have scored more, thrown for more yards….and I think more or similar rushing yards. could be a toss-up
  13. They were not going to snap the ball, it was a delay of game penalty. I was right there about 30 yards from the play
  14. You know, we have our own version of a running game. UNT can grind out some yards on the ground. If the rain is not too bad, we can do an air and ground assault for 600 yds. If it rains, we put 8 in the box and stack the line.
  15. I will be flying in Friday and touring the Academy Friday afternoon. That is a must.
