  1. plural pronoun, in this case UNT football program and fans. As a fan, an appropriate grammatical application. As a note, ive always posted under this name and my unt association has been posted more than once on other threads. As such, your most likely going to cling to the pretense that either fan base truely gives a rats ass about the other. In reality, i dont care what either base thinks about me or who i support. I support both for my reasons without regard to anyone. As i told runner fans, going to support with or without you, but im not going to get involved in talking crap about either team.
  2. What are the odds this makes us look like a dumpster fire and scare off coaches and recruites?
  3. is the candidate pool so shallow that b10 hired in house? That cant be a good sign. Im beginning to loose hope that this will be a happy ending.
  4. Congratulations on the win! Very happy for y'all to finally get the never beating UT-San Antonio and 0 for season monkeys off your back! As I posted on another thread, this series will be very interesting in the coming seasons. #birdsup #GMG
  5. I guess the diplomatic thing to say is that it is an epic battle between 2 equally matched teams...
  6. Alright guys. I hope both teams play well and injury free. Catch ya'll post game #birdsup #GMG
  7. all of them. Conferences look at media market$ and new recruiting turf (see texas a&m to sec). That is why unt, utsa, houston would never get a b12 invite even if they could ever be ready to move up.
  8. Dome hosts New Year Day Alamo Bowl with required facilities. Regardless if you like them or not, their stadium, fans, attendance, etc., the facts remain dispite your degrading their accomplishments or justifying your failures. UNT has got to start winning to change the culture. I'm hopeful a HC who can recruit and develop talent that comes in. Last post on this assuming that there is governing interest for varacity. The dome was paid for by visitors to the city with hotel tax and was paid in full and the tax recinded, hardly a fleecing. Your comment on no home field advantage is so incorrect that it would sound disingenuous except you don't live here. Several teams have said they practice for the noise when they wouldn't otherwise, other coaches said it created play calling issues on the field at critical times and last year (I think) when asked about the crowd noise in Oregan, the qb said they played in louder this season (unt? No, utsa) the dome is undergoing major renovations to address your points. Anyway, facilities are an ass whip because no one cares. Does USC or Miami care that they are off campus? No. Regarding student attendance, people bandwagon winners, talk sh*t when their team wins- attendance is and always is tied to winning. Off campus, on campus or across town, a*s kickers put butts in seats and win NSD. Anything else is window dressing and bull s. contextually, people showed up when they were winning. Lets cut the b.s., what is unt attendance in the stadium? Winning = attendance & recruiting, period. Everything else is inconsequential.

  11. no, most see a 65k seat p5 venue as +. A campus venue would be a waste of $. Focus is indoor facility for recruiting. As a rule they think its funny Nt doesnt like them.
  12. old fans see San Marcos High as the utsa rivals, newer fans see LA Tech since those games tend to be dirty
  13. If UNT 90 backs out or can't get free that weekend, I will do it. I will take a 10% reduction from his pay and donate 25% of my pay to a social media and P.R. Team dedicated to recruiting football in DFW area. Also, I will work with the alumni association toward 1.building relationships with high school coaches ignored to date and 2. Crank up fundraising for a state of the art indoor practice\training facility. My grass roots campaign slogan will be "Get sh*t done".
  14. if you pick something, wouldnt you want it to be something that actually caught or killed the bird? My take on the coyote was he always tried but failed to catch the bird. Bad juju for the mean green.
  15. bad choice. He never caught the bird. NutsaCK is the best trash talk in fbs though.
  16. put aside that i root for both teams, i think this series is facinating. This year utsa is very young and injured, unt is in transition. Next year utsa will older and presumably healthy (soft ooc) & unt their staff issues resolved. I cant wait to watch all this unfold!
  17. -9 on the road with qb1 out.
  18. isnt that a lot to ask in 2 games? He probably never got qb1 snaps to prepare him
  19. I'm curious, cow meme not withstanding, what is the general feel right now: excited because an opportunity for such dramatic change is here or skeptical due to past events? I for one am so excited, this new coach hire could dramatically change the program for decades.
  20. i hope your not suggesting fans have a say. Irrational, ill-informed people without the benefit of the insight experience gives sounds like a recepy for disaster. I cant say that the program isnt terrible right now, but that doesnt mean that just any option is a good one
  21. your post is pretty much the game plan. Don't tell anyone. I'm afraid someone will end up winning on penetrations.
  22. great speed on returns, punter is ok, kicker is money in doors at the dome but struggles outdoors. Advantage unt in denton this year
