  1. Exciting 4th quarter. Nice win for Charlotte.
  2. I had the same issue. I ordered a cap that was clearly black in the website photo, but I received a hunter green cap. I still have it because it was a clearance item that only cost about $10, so I wasn’t going to pay $7 to send it back.
  3. My impression was always that liberals were “following the science” with the “vaccines cause autism”argument. From my experience in the teaching field, it seemed to me that the parents who were choosing not to have their children vaccinated we’re almost always liberal. In honesty, that was my opinion as I didn’t know their true political leanings. Also, it was a small sample size.
  4. Honest question because I don't know the answer. The following is an assumption that I have always made. Isn't it true that anti-vaxxers, pre-COVID, have typically been mostly liberal types and conservatives have cried foul because these people were sending their kids to school unvaccinated? Now, in the COVID era, there has been a complete reversal. Again, maybe I'm wrong on this. Maybe it's been mostly conservatives who have been anti-vaxxers all along. So, have I been mistaken about this all along? I hope for honest dialogue because I'm very open minded on the subject.
  5. Not sure his success or failure at KU equates to anyone here being right or wrong. Players often transfer and find success at their new school. I agree that’s it’s pretty bad to wish him failure.
  6. Every Texas school to the best of my knowledge. I’ve been to TCU, Baylor, UT, and SMU (vs. UNT). Once it became an online system it became more difficult to get tickets to the Big 12 schools. I think they were pretty much only for head coaches. I’ve been out coaching for over 5 years, so some things may have changed since my last experience. A couple of notable stories: I watched UT/Nebraska from about 10 rows behind the Nebraska bench on the 50 yard line when Nebraska was ranked top 5. A few years later I watched UT/UNT from the next to last row from the top of the upper deck. Most stadiums had a “coaches section”, but at UT you never knew where you’d be. Seats at Apogee are pretty decent. I want say it was always in section 203, often with recruits.
  7. Not holding my breath, but I’ll be there if it happens😁
  8. This is the kind of thing that I thought only happened to UNT. Get a home game against a big name opponent and all of a sudden…POOF. It’s gone.
  9. Its really not as clear as you think it is. Bottom line is your internet persona comes across as kind of a brash know-it-all who can’t see things from a different perspective.
  10. Rumor has it that Tech will join the WAC, while TCU and Baylor are close to a deal with the Lone Star Conference.
  11. This is the kind of quality insight you can only get here🤣🤣
  12. It makes sense to me that he would have to enter the portal if he hoped to play at another school. You can’t transfer to another school and play if you haven’t entered the portal can you?
  13. Seems like common sense that our military would be the last one’s out of the country.
  14. It’s pretty simple, the vaccine was approved for public use much, much faster than most vaccines (or any other medications). We simply don’t know the long term effects of this vaccine. It didn’t go through the typical clinical trials, etc. And before you explain how COVID is different, I am aware of that fact. My wife worked in clinical trails for several pharmaceutical companies over the past 20 years, so she is probably a bit more informed than the average person. That being said, I’ve had the vaccination, but I’m concerned about possible long term effects and I completely understand why someone would choose not to get the vaccine.
  15. Didn’t I read on a.thread here recently that Sam Howell beat out Jace Ruder at NC?😁😁
  16. I figure if Aune beats out Ruder it just means either 1) he’s improved a lot since last year or 2) Ruder isn’t as good as I expected.
  17. Seems like I feel the same as several others: I want to beat SMU the most, but I feel like beating Mizzou would be the better win, especially from a national perspective. I’m also of the opinion that no win in CUSA should be considered an upset for us. We should expect to have a chance every game and we should be competitive every game.
  18. Ideally this is true, but getting factual information is not easy, you have to seek it out. Most information that the general public hears is politically driven, so it’s not necessarily true. Additionally, people can most likely find information on the web that fits their perspective. Finally, there is still so much with this virus that is unknown after a year and a half that even honest people who have the public’s best interest at heart could be unknowingly giving bad information. Or maybe I’m just a cynic.
  19. The most shocking part of this is that it’s BYU. NIL will ruin college sports as we know them.
