Should have UTA at home this year.

Unless he's at a Power 5 school or UTSA, then he gets 2 more years.

Breaking: Tylor Perry enters transfer portal
Shark84 replied to TheReal_jayD's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Perry has definitely earned the right to transfer. Just remember when Hamlet decided to turn pro. Some thought we'd never be able to replace him. I will miss TP for his involvement in the community as much as his clutch shot making. I trust Hodge to find the next great guard.- 181 replies

Abou officially enters transfer portal
Shark84 replied to Matt from A700's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Sussoko has already used his free transfer. Gets one more when he graduates I think. -
Heard before the tournament that Morgan was going to transfer. Maybe Hodge can convince him to stay, if he wants him.

Anyone know where I can find a NIT Championship t shirt? Tried several Rally House locations near Denton and all they have left are smalls. Thanks

So did anyone else hear the rumor that he is Muslim and observing Ramadan back in Brooklyn with his family?

Regardless of what happens tomorrow night. Grant has earned and secured his legacy as the best coach in UNT history. Hayden Fry left and went to Iowa but is still revered here in Denton. Go Mean Green!

How about a break out last career game for Martinez? Gotta draw their bigs away from the basket to open the drives.
-
I'm flying out tomorrow for the game. I know they had a UNT tailgate event before Wisconsin. Anyone have any information on something before the game tomorrow night? Go Mean Green!

Word has it, broken hand. Will try to play if he's able to deal with the pain and cast.

How much is there to the rumors
Shark84 replied to ScreamingEaglesFan's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Competitors like Mac want to win championships at the highest level. I don't see this as a money issue. I'd love for him to stay but completely understand if TT and playing in the Big 12 is an offer he can't refuse. Let's just enjoy the heck out of this team and season! Go Mean Green. The link for tickets off the UNT site only shows 300 level general admission for $15. If anyone sees lower level available, please post. Go Mean Green!

It worked today but OSU is a big, physical team. Sure like our chances better with Abou, Sissoko and Martinez to rotate.
-
Would be great to see 5k in the Pit Wednesday, but with the students out for break and no big name opponent??? Probably looking at 3k of the diehards. Got my 4 tickets today. Go Mean Green!

Congratulations to Johnny. He's done an unbelievable job at Southern. I think he thrives in being the underdog. Zero pressure to win and almost no media attention. He sure does look a lot older...as we all do. Great memories of our trips to Hot Springs.

I'd rather not poke the bear! Go Mean Green!

He has only played basketball for 3-4 years. Grew up playing soccer. Was getting lost on the defensive rotations and was lost on offense so he sat. He's learning and getting better everyday. Works hard in practice. Really bright future.
-
He also looks to have grown another inch or two.

We passed Houston yesterday to take the team defense title! UNT finished giving up 55.6 points per game while the Cougars ended up at 56.1 congratulations to the players and coaches. Can't wait for next week. Go Mean Green!
