    Evaluate talent and develop talent is a must for UNT. He signed a qb out in middle of nowhere and he developed into one of the top qb’s in the transfer portal with multiple P5 offers.

    Will be done. They had a jump start from last year with letting Seth go. I believe they also have a list of identified candidates . Maybe in some cases had preliminary discussions. Maybe as early as this weekend?

    I would take a hard look at Chad Morris for OC. Great OC and recruiter. Has local connections!

    W-L as a whole can be deceiving. He was 10-3 and 9-3 his last 2 seasons. He was also AAC coach of the year. Andy Dalton and Payton Lynch qb’s he coached. Our new coach either needs to be or hires a qb whisperer!

    If you want youth. An overachiever, successful head coaching experience, P5 OC, a proven evaluator of talent, can recruit and develop the qb position. A Texas guy! BAM!

    There is a reason SMU didn't hire him. There is a reason GH was not offered the interim HC job at USC. There is a reason people that had worked with them did not give them the opportunity. It is a Lazy reporting list.

    Why didn’t SMU hire Garrett? Why didn’t USC give Graham the interim coaching job? We hired one of the best Assist Coaches at the time. We now need to hire a proven winner.

    The candidates that being talked about on public forum seem to be very poor choices. One of the reasons Mc was hired for BB is because he had HC experience. I believe it should be the same for football. We can’t afford another HC in training.

    Every X P5 coach that has had success at the G5 level should be contacted. The whittle down from there.

    I think the complaints we heard from TCU before he left and when he left could be a big negative.

    152-121 ..We tried the up and coming OC and we all could see the issues he had because he didn't have the experience of being a head coach. I understand we all would like a Dion type hire as long as he has head coaching experience i'm on board. Patterson is the only I see that could bring us both.
