  1. Don’t think EM is a dual threat qb coach? You have to love this guy’s athleticism!
  2. I'm all for hiring youth that has proven they can recruit with being mentored by experience staff. My concern is how much will NIL money play into commitments. I'm still a big proponent of the TP. GMG
  3. It looks like most of the coaches have something in common. Success in recruiting. GMG
  4. No doubt they can get us in the door, now let's see if we can close.
  5. If change happens it will have to come from successful schools with limited funds. Alabama , Auburn compared to Texas and Texas A&M funds is not even close. It is still too early to see the huge amount impact of NIL money. I believe the next big change will be to raise or not even have a scholarship limit or a staffing limit . I could also see scholarships go away, just pay me.
  6. Great idea. The key is access over and above the standard fan. Observe a coaches meeting, have breakfast with a coach. All can be set up based on donation level as far as the level of access goes. As Dion had mentioned only 7% give back to their university make giving back something special with some cool perks.
  7. You can have the greatest coach in the world, but if you don’t have facilities and NIL money we will never reach out full potential. At least by season tickets and if you have to split up among other fans. This allows to budget and not get crushed on bad weather days! GMG
  8. This will be a very challenging job with the current facilities! Congrats to all! GMG
  9. “We have to build relationships with Texas High School Coaches” every coach we ever hired. EM has done it overnight! GMG
  10. very productive is this system. I really like getting coaches that are not getting 4-5 star recruits! Also notice their MLB is 260lbs!
  11. We have a long way to go outside coaching. Facilities, as in the weight room, rehab area and I would guess locker room not up to AAC standards. We have gone from top facilities in C-USA to bottom 1/2 of AAC. I would also believe this would hold true on the NIL $$$. Cincinnati was paying HC over $3m and staff over $3m. Unless a sugar daddy steps up ( UH) it will take time for fans to get involved with donations. Win and create a fun game day environment. If I was in the area I would go to a VT game just to experience the “ Sandman” entrance!!
  12. If we are going to loose players, let be to P5’s and I hope they find great success. Would hate to see a lose to an AAC team.
  13. Lowest paid coach in the AAC? Hopefully a lot of incentives. If you look at Seth's pay and what an OC would cost we may of just increased the staff pay by $1M PLUS.
  14. Could be a great fit for both. Wish him the best!
  15. To Mississippi State as OC? He is considered a top contender. Coming from the Leach tree.
  16. Agree, but I would add 1 maybe 2. Start from scratch!
  17. He has 1 year of eligibility. I had said a tryout and a physical. Hopefully he is healthy, looks like he played a few snaps at Michigan.
  18. I would bring in Alan Bowman for a try out and physical.
  19. Let's see what happens is probably his attitude. Wish him the bast.
  20. I believe he is right. My only concern is the NIL dollars and the impact it will have on the AAC. Can Roberts go to SMU and make $75,000 a year? I don't know how we can compete against that type of player benefit.
  21. 3-3-3 with 2 safeties. Their d lineman shoot the gaps (weakest position) and is cleaned up by linebackers and safeties. Come back KD!
