For you to compare an assist BB coach to a top 10 Offensive co-ordinator is stupid. The biggest gripe of B is his no game time experience. Litt has plenty of high competition game time experience!

Not really when you take into consideration the revenue side. Get a new coach be competitive and you will see a pick up in attendance and $ !

What is the upside to retain Benford? You are going to keep him because he might have a winning season next year out of 5! We had court seats for 5 years with 3 being with Johnny and it was great. We had 2 with Benford and needless to say we gave them up and have not been to a game since! I will be shocked if B is not gone!

Had floor seats for 5 years, and they were a blast except for Benfords era. Stuck around for Tony season and the following season. Gave them up after 2 Benfords seasons and have not been back! Get s new coach!!!

DE size and depth are good. We have size at tackle but depth could be a concern. It was my understanding that this defense may not rotate as much as Mac did.

Thanks for the great info. I would like to see us also always sign a run option Qb. These guys are usually great athletes, that can often be moved to other positions like a Receiver or Defensive back. I have a lot of confidence in the Qb position with this coaching staff.

We were even there to see Dunbar break the rushing record in the pouring rain!!This would not of happened without the club seats! A good friend of mine is on the UNT Alumni Board. A lot of changes have taken place with Prez Smak getting invloved, with one of the biggest steps having the assoc. put under the university umbrella. This gives the alumni chapter a constant budget and mission. He said that Smak is not an academian but more of a marketing and fundraiser type president. In talking to this board member I asked what needs to be done to drive membership? Easy, WIN at football! Some of the biggest jumps in membership happened when the new stadium was being built and the HOD bowl, I would guess it would be the same for the MGC. A winning team not only effects athletics, but has a positive impact on the whole university and we now have a President that understands this power. This has been proven to me by the firing of Mc and the hiring of Seth. Al Davis "Just win baby!"

Big difference in Assist BB coach and a OC or DC in football. GAME TIME coaching and decisions. Bedford can recruit his coaching is very suspect. I think you have a different criteria between the 2 sports on hiring coaches. Unless Cross gets a better offer, double his money, if not I would look at the ULAR coach.

Winning will solve everything! I wonder how much RV slams we're going on leading up to the HOD bowl? Seth is successful and a new BB coach becomes successful less stress on RV! Should he be fired? Hell yes and hopefully that will happen!
