What scares me about SMU is their last 2 recruiting classes have been dramatically better than ours. Those guys will start showing up! Beating them would be a huge boost to start the season.

Really excited for the new season. I am looking forward to big improvements on the D side of the ball. Linebacker play I expect to pick up dramatically with scheme and talent coming in. We will have great size at linebacker and DE and going to a 3 down I think will accentuate these strengths. Moving Buyers to the O side of the ball shows we are strong in the DB area. 4 wins would be nice, but be competitive and show improvement will mean a lot! GMG

As stated RV firing is justified! But to hammer people that make donations to the school so RV can keep his job is punk! I guess you thought we should keep MC through his contract? On a 4-2-5 the safeties play a lot on the outside run containment. The kid at 5'9 ard 200 could be something. Also could be a strong RB or maybe slot guy. Having an athlete play both ways at that level is impressive and some of his stats r crazy! GMG

The big adjustment will be the gap line up for the OL. Tackles will need a quick first step! Major adjustment for a big kid.
