Great point. Our existing building is nice just need to create more usable space. It was genius locating at the end of the field. We also very lucky to have excess land. Construction pricing is starting to come down. We had the top C-USA facilities now we need the same in the AAC.

It is time to quit talking about and get it started. I have mentioned before the wt room and rehab areas are very small. Take these area triple their size and add to the IPF. This would create probably 7 to 8,000 sq ft to the main building for expansion. Move the score board and use the deck for games and events. A lot has change since the master project was presented. We are now in the AAC and NIL money is important!

I like this hire and expect the qb play we need

Ever since I have followed UNT we have always been able to sign rb and receivers that are very talented. Now we need to get consistent on our qb play. He is the coach to make that happen! GMG -
I’m really jacked up with this hire! I really expect competent to staring qb play. GMG

I would take a hard look at Dickey and look for this type of experience on the DC side of the ball. Would also reach out Jon Kitna for QB coach.

Look at his resume on qb's he recruited and coached. It is obvious he can spot talent and help that talent develop. WSU is not the run and shoot. Look at WSU offensive stats and compare to Graham at USC that had 2 to 3 times the talent. Spot potential qb talent and know how to develop it will be a big plus for UNT. It may not have been the number one requirement, but I think being a Texas guy with contacts is a big plus. I have pushed him since day 1 and I'm ecstatic with the hire! GMG

Interesting premise. How much do chances for success increase with finally building the new facilities and funding the NIL. The NIL probably gives more power to the big money donors. -
Could be a great QB coach?

Mike's guy and Dickey as OC? I could get behind. With what we have been through it is obvious major donors have great influence on who is hired. As they should! Dickey could also serve as qb coach. He has had some great ones. -

Good offer list out of HS. Wasn’t Traylor involved with the McCowans brothers in HS or college? I saw UTSA offered out of HS.Also might want to Keep an eye on Brenden Lewis out of Mellissa.
