    I’m friends with one of the wide receivers of SMU (I work with him) and he said that game was ridiculous hot on their side. He also said they had a lot of respect for us after that game.

    I’m still perplexed how a school who one knows, can recruit players this good.

    Just be smart. Don’t walk between the streets in dark alleys. Even with a buddy. Always best in groups of 3-5. Don’t venture on the other side of Pontchartrain Expressway. Crimes in Nola are often opportunistic. Be nice to the cops.

    I was in Baton Rouge for the LSU Arkansas game a few weeks ago. Arkansas has some skilled and really big players. I was there for school and stayed in the team hotel by campus. Will be interesting to see how our players size up for sure.

    Can we also address the “and that’s good for another...Mean Green First Down”? That needs to be the band only signally a chant. I feel like a contestant on a game show or I’m being sold a used car.

    Agreed. We also need to get rid of that stupid “Another Mean Green First Down” announcer thing. Stay with the band prompted chant that signals the crowd with something similar to what LSU and other teams do like... Band....Go....Band....Mean..Band....Green!! Band...then a quick U...N...T!

    So much better than ESPN3. Never had an issue. Used Bluetooth to cast it to my TV. Didn’t miss a beat.
