    I am sure they were motivated, but FAU is better than we are and is a horrible matchup for us. Motivation could overcome one or the other, but not likely both.

    Our SOS was dragged down a lot by Lamar, UTEP, and Rice. For the remaining 10 games, though, the week to week schedule is significantly different.

    I agree that it is lateral. SMUg has money and a better conference, but UNT has way more potential as a program, and way more fan support (even though still lacking). If he keeps winning, the money will follow here at UNT.
