I'm not trying to be negative but in reference to the sleeping giant in DFW...how was the reception during 2001-2004 when we were on a roll? I was in high school at the time in North Ft. Worth and I don't remember much buzz about UNT despite the success. Does having the new stadium and facilities make it different if we have success this year and going forward? I hope people getting excited, trust me, I'm just afraid the athletic department still doesn't know how to think like a "big time" program to get people pumped up about NT football.

What would look the best would be to take the SOW wings and put it on either side. Very similar to the ones Oregon has been wearing but in our colors, obviously. That would be hard to beat in my opinion.

I guess I'm the minority...I understand it's hot but it was the first game at the new stadium and they looked pretty crappy in the unmatching khakis. I think they should have had uniforms on at least for the halftime show. Had a gentleman sitting next to me who graduated in 67' and he shared my disappointment with the attire.

Since no one has given many food suggestion, let me be of assistance. -Fuzzy's Taco Shop, just off the Square. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but go with fish tacos, amazing. -El Guapos, mexican, very good food, south of the square -Katz burgers, the best burgers by far in Denton...maybe in all of Texas?? It's on the opposite side of I-35 than the stadium. South of Eagle Dr. -Jimmy Johns on Fry St. for great subs. What am I missing guys??
