    Interesting tidbit from the interview. After 2nd scrimmage, we should know the starting QB. It will give them 2 full weeks of prep before the Cal game.

    Thanks for the insights! Our RB room is definitely loaded. Patrick Cobbs is the man, and I hope he sticks around for a while. I imagine he's in for a big raise soon.

    SSK lost to Toronto 31-13 today. Mason was 27-39 for 302 yards and 2 INT. He was relieved at some point and the back up was 4-5 for 100 yards and a TD.

    Yes, I was one of them. Just too much grey area right now with starting an NIL fund (taxes). Unfortunately in my line of work, outside activities are heavily scrutinized as well (compliance). I'm hopeful we can get some type of fundraising activities for the athletes department started, but it needs buy in.

    He has years of experience recruiting kids to his private school in Baltimore. I'm interested in seeing how this translates on the field. Charlotte is a growing area, and if they have success, they could blow up over the next few years. However, people have said the same thing about us. It definitely will be interesting to see how us and Charlotte grow over the next few years.

    Wow, this guy can hit. He's not afraid of contact at all. I just had a flashback of seeing Derek Akunne hit opposing ball carriers. This is a great addition. Solid offer list as well.

    So we had a 19% increase from last year, that's pretty good. We beat inflation year over year lol. On a serious note, if we can consistently win, the fans will come.

    I enjoy the interviews that you are having with the new commits. Since Beyond The Green is no longer a thing, we don't really get an inside look into the program. It's cool to hear who recruited them, and why they chose North Texas. The coaching staff interviews have been great as well. It's interesting to hear about their background and insights with the current team. During the season, it would be cool to maybe have a recap of how the current recruits are performing. I know someone on the board generally gathers this information.

    It's great that we have so many connections to Texas HS football. Keep building those relationships with the coaching community and we will continue to add great talent.
