  1. Look at who UTEP has hired historically and this will give you an idea of where UTSA will go for their coach. UT's system is really in control.
  2. http://www.okstate.com/news/2006/8/7/Nelson_Barnes.aspx Not sure we can pry him away from OSU and Perkins cash. Wonder if Mean Joe would consider a position in the Athletic Department. UT takes care of all of their old players, and Mr. Greene is our most public ambassador.
  3. And....the off season is officially here. When does spring practice start?
  4. Nope. That is one of those crappy West Coast concoctions from In and Out, which describes your body's reaction to it. In one end and out the other.
  5. That is why everyone is tired of his act. Every thread he comments on turns in to a bash RV thread. Such a whipping. Welcome home Alec.
  6. It is one thing to learn from the past and move forward. It is another to dwell on the past with an unhealthy focus with blinders on blocking your view of anythi1ng positive.
  7. I would add that some academic departments do a poor job of preparing their students for the job market, so I would agree that there needs to be something to address this area for all students.
  8. This is Texas. No "In and Out" Burgers, only Whataburger.
  9. Hate to lose him but he is now gone in my mind. Who will we bring in?
  10. I wish the young man well. He seems like a quality person with all of the well wishes from the Ol Miss faithful. I must say that I would have picked 2 years of playing time if I were in his shoes.
  11. Ahhhh, the first annual off-season topics and the big game is yet to be played. Guess helmet stickers, uniform talk, conference realignment , etc... will soon follow.
  12. I only looked on Rivals, but there are quite a few in Texas without committments.
  13. I haven't been rah-rah for any coaches that would sit at 1-11 in their 3rd year. You have no idea what my thoughts are regarding the AD, but as I have stated before, I believe it is time for him to move along. I just don't choose to fly banners, yell from the roof tops or badger people on a message board. Carry on Awesome Sauce.
  14. King is listed as a 3-star athlete by Rivals, a 3-star dual threat QB by 247 and a 4-star athlete by ESPN. At a Sparq verified 5'10" and 161 lbs., I would find it difficult to believe that he would succeed at QB on the FBS/FCS level.
  15. https://texasstate.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1767564 Good article on Bullard
  16. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2230817/highlights/167951383/v2 Well, he obviously likes catching balls at Apogee.
  17. https://rivals.yahoo.com/fau/football/recruiting/player-Darius-Anderson-161515 Here's a head scratcher. Big DT, 3 star rated, with offers we should be able to beat out.
  18. This the best you got, Awesome Sauce? What QB are you referring to? I never stated that I think Littrell is the best college football coach in history just that I liked the hire. Of course, you wouldn't be happy with anyone but Fritz or The Ghost of Emory Bellard to run their antiquated offense. It's okay Awesome Sauce, I expect you to come around to Littrell once the games start.
