  1. Whoever is beating me to the update everyday, thank you. I have become so apathetic towards the program that I am not even keeping up with my own countdown. I'm sure joy will return once we are within 10 days.
  2. and SMU...or are they one in the same?
  3. Hope he isn't snapping to Fine. We need Barr in there on regular plays.

  5. You are correct. I was thinking of Mathis at SMU. So, let's go to Desoto. On second thought, let's do both since they are pretty much neighbors.
  6. He was not rated on 247. I decided to look at Rivals since 247 seems to be running behind on offers to see if they had any listed that 247 did not.
  7. Across the street just north of the SP. It is now the Ken Bahnsen Gym.
  8. I always forget about Twitter since I am not active on there.
  9. They were fun during the Blakeley era when attendance was better than the JJ era.
  10. Exactly. I really don't think the Super Pit is a problem for recruiting. Heck, Benford's one success has been recruiting talent. Quirky old gyms are fun and add to the home court advantage. Back 100 years ago when I played, one of our home courts' floors had some "dead" areas. We structured our defense to funnel the opposition to those areas thus creating turnovers. We loved it. The Super Pit is far from an old, quirky gym. The original Pit is a great example. Players want to play were they can win.
  11. Will definitely stop by. Thanks. I thought DOTS were the initials for something or some department.
  12. Marketing is horrible by all the above. You have to search for information. They should promote these things all over, nkt just through their respective websites.
  13. Pardon my ignorance, but what is DOTS?
  14. No, what I am saying is he knew basketball wasn't performkng well and he specifically said he would evaluate the team throughout the year and make a decision after the season.
  15. Missed the boat when the Goldfield's were willing to foot the bill. I understand RV crapped that relationship, but I wonder if someone from the new staff has reached out to them.
  16. Let's hold a practice at Cedar Hill this year. We could get in front of some great athletes and piss off SMU in the process since they hired McGuire.
  17. The Men's soccer team was extremely successful too.
  18. Left Tech early and never attended a class his last year there.
