  1. I agree. I always felt he was under utilized by the Cowboys
  2. Not a Rams fan, but a Dunbar fan, so I guess I will now start following the Yellow and Blue.
  3. Not to answer for Cooley, but I think it is mentioned at the start of this thread that his parents are UNT grads, and of course, Uncle Cooley is as well.
  4. Send the link to the recruiting coordinator, David Steinklyf (sp?)
  5. I have always like the SP. I wish the aisles were a little wider between the seats. I am an average sized man, roughly 6'1", and I feel cramped by the seat in front of me. Outside of that and the stupid media row that takes up prime seating, I have always like the SP, inside and out. Question/Suggestion: Could suites/club seating be added at the top of the seating on the sides? This was be from Section 217-222 and from Section 204-210. This would obviously reduce capacity, but could be an option if feasible.

  7. So @Cooley, does North Texas even have a shot?
  8. You are right, there is a llt of good here, some even ranked as tops in the nation and world...might call those prestigious. Not trying to argue, but don't downgrade UNT's achievements. https://www.unt.edu/rankings I have always appreciated your insights, but jumping on here after we hire your head coach is asking for some comebacks, especially when you bad mouth our program. Did you expect us to just go, "Yep, you're right, we suck?"
  9. Thanks for working on getting him to Denton.
  10. This, and it is much appreciated. Then you aren't paying attention. UNT has very good academic programs across the board.
  11. I am thinking the same thing. I'll just put my tickets up to the first taker when I can't make it to Denton.
  12. http://247sports.com/player/jordan-hunt-46038590 Only offer so far.
  13. http://247sports.com/player/tyrese-williams-46038796 Offers from UNT, Cal, New Mexico, UTSA and Texas State
  14. "Mr. Do-It-All" http://247sports.com/player/danny-gray-46039844
  15. Yes, they need to be there. Heck, it might be worth reaching out and calling Seth Littrell or Tony Reffett directly.
  16. Sure it was, but it was unprofessional at best. It is okay to be disappointed, but there are some things that are better said "off the record."
  17. I would assume they will be looking for a new place of employment.
  18. Love it but I would change it to "Keeping UNT Great!"

  20. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/18900048/north-texas-mean-green-hire-grant-mccasland
  21. Worth its own thread, but I would go with McCasland just on the fact that he has been a successful head coach in the past where SL didn't have any head coaching experience.
  22. This was the hire I really wanted but didn't think would happen with the buyout to ASU. I think President Smatresk, Wren Baker, Brint Ryan and the BOR deserve a pat on the back for maybe turning the corner and treating our athletics like a big school should. Understanding what a heavily attended* Apogee 6 times a year, a bowl game and a heavily attended* Super Pit mean for the school as a whole is a breath of fresh air. I also appreciate how Baker operates, with candidates ready to roll when a change is needed. Exciting times in Denton folks. A successful basketball team will also benefit Coach Littrell on those recruiting weekends when they wouldn't dare take them to see Benford ball.
