With the college and high school seasons upon us, should we expect a slowdown in commitments and recruiting activity? I know we will host players to every home game, but I was curious what recruiting looks like historically during the season. Anyone know?

Apologies not needed. I now live 5 hours away and with Jr. and Sr. High aged boys, getting to Denton for the games is tough. As Harry stated, any of the tailgates will welcome you. Introduce yourself and you will make many wonderful friends and connections. Tony has a reputation for the juiciest, most flavorful balls in all the land. What does that have to do with a majority? A majority is just a percentage of a number and has nothing to do with our stadium's capacity.

So, how do you feel about the direction of our football program?

I would say that the majority of our fan base is excited about the direction of the program. I am not distraught. I would be if I thought we were headed in the right direction. I would label our fan base as optimistic at this point. A year ago distraught might have been the correct label.

I agree. Brooks will draw man to man against Sutton on some plays, but I also expect help over the top, etc... Reffett will do all he can to disguise coverages, blitzs, etc... to confuse the offense.

So, my DVR picked up the recent re-showing of Pony Excess, and I watched it again. I laughed when they were all excited about the savior the program needed to turn everything around, June Jones. They bragged how he had turned many programs around in the past and how he would do the same at SMU. Long story short, I hope we cause Morris to resign as well.

Love the green helmet and the all white uniforms. I like the compromise between traditional and new. The black look good also, but I am more a fan of the green and the white. Really nice look. Hope these stick for a while.
