  1. Well then, let's get him to Denton! Paging Mr. Trice to Lincoln High School...paging Mr. Trice.
  2. I thought Jenkins was committed to Rice. Did he back out of this or was I mistaken?
  3. What about his teammate? http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/_/id/188564/edmond-boateng Reminds me of the story of the old bull and the young bull standing on the hill looking down over a pasture of lovely cows. The young bull, all hyped up and excited says, "Let's run down there and screw one them, can we, can we, huh?" The old bull replies, "Calm down, let's walk down there and screw them all." We now belong with the "big boys" and need to send Noah and Trice in to get them both.
  4. I would love to see us go after this young man, but something must be up considering he is highly rated with just a few offers: Alfonso Hampton: 4 star DT http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/_/id/189156/alfonso-hampton
  5. Sundberg was my favorite player at the time also, but he still went to KC and hit .245. He wasn't going to be the major factor behind the Rangers winning a World Series at that time. He was a good, servicable player on a bad team, Rangers, that go the opportunity to join an established club, the Royals, and be a part of a World Championship team. George Brett, Hal McCrae, Willie Wilson, etc... and a great pitching staff won that WS. Good for Sunny, because the ownership group of the Rangers were idiots.
  6. Please explain...from a Kinesiology/Physical Education alumni.
  7. You mean black SOW on a green helmet? That's what we wore this year.
  8. Hope #1 isn't right, because we have a number of OL's already on the roster that should be in front of him like Trussell, Ellard, Rentfro, Walker, Sorge, etc... If Miles is that good, then so be it.
  9. I like pie. I had pecan, chocolate and apple over Thanksgiving. What about you all?
  10. I keep hearing about Smiley. What is the story there? I would have thought if he was that good he would have played this year.
  11. In super slow motion, in daisy dukes and a halter top/sweater vest combo? The return of Sexy Time!
  12. I pulled quotes because you said these were the sole cause of the earthquakes. You not me. The article states they may cause... Don't change your arguement to win a debate, stick to your original comment. You also stated they cause water pollution. If it is done correctly, this is not true and the pumping of waste water back into the ground is done at a level below the water table. Regarding global warming: http://www.climatedepot.com/2013/07/15/suns-bizarre-activity-may-trigger-another-little-ice-age-or-not-solar-activity-is-in-gradual-decline/ Funny thing is that this report claims there could be a mini-ice age with very cold winters and other publications state that this will have a minimal effect on global warming. The fact is that there is still much research to be done regarding global warming, so nobody really knows.
  13. Yeah, did you see the quotes I pulled from that article? Primarily, the quotes in bold? Now you post an article from the NT Daily about earthquakes in central OKLAHOMA when your initial claim was that fracking was the sole reason for the quakes around North Texas. Read the second comment in the daily article. I just see lot's of could's and may's but no, "this is the sole cause."
  14. That article doesn't really prove anything. For instance, the article states: "USGS scientists have found that at some locations the increase in seismicity coincides with the injection of wastewater in deep disposal wells." But then says: "When wastewater disposal takes place near faults, and underground conditions are right, earthquakes may be more likely to occur, Ellsworth’s research showed. and "While the disposal process has the potential to trigger earthquakes, not every wastewater disposal well produces earthquakes. In fact, very few of the more than 30,000 wells designed for this purpose appear to cause earthquakes. Still would love to see the research that states fracking is the "sole cause" of the earthquakes.
  15. The return of Scrappy's last uniform and the burning of Eugene Levy Scrappy.
  16. North Texas was beat by a far superior TEAM tonight plain and simple. BYU is a well coached well disciplined team and they showed it. That sums it up.
  17. Christopher, I appreciate all the hard work you have put in to making the alumni pavilion a success. I think you have done a fantastic job, but wouldn't it make your job much nicer if there was some additional shade and AC. I realize it costs money. Where does the money from beer sales go besides paying staff?
  18. Any proof that it is the cause of the earthquakes? I would love to read that research.
  19. Any chance of a hurricane striking on New Year's Day?
  20. I don't think hosting high school games diminished the bowl games hosted at the Cotton Bowl back before AT&T was built.
  21. Sorry, I live in west Texas right in the middle of a drilling boon of historic proportions. Not one earthquake, and there are many more wells out here than in DFW. That is the most ridiculous argument ever. Maybe some should realize that there are fault lines all over North Texas.
  22. Why do schools such as SMU, UTSA and Texas State not seem to have issues scheduling big teams yet we can't get them to visit Apogee? For example, why is the Iowa series two games in Iowa and not a 1 for 1 deal that you mentioned we would only be accepting?
