  1. I am hosting a NYE Party for the Dancers and their alumni, so I will pass the word along to these ladies. Quoner, Guy Fieri is a UNLV grad. Might want to change the picture until after the bowl game.
  2. I just don't get the attraction to Idaho. No conference to speak of, no television, no bowl games, just a big bag of nothing. Well, they do have some nice fans, but Moscow, ID over Denton!?
  3. Any chance Rheinhart moves to DT? I know he was recruited as a TE, but he appears to have the skills, size and attitude to play DT. Of course, I've always wondered why we never tried Micah Thompson at DT. Then again, maybe we did and that necessitated his move to OT.
  4. Being a former baseball player, I have only watched this movie once, maybe twice. Just not a fan of the "over the top" segments such as the final scene and the Wrigley clock breaking home run.
  5. Speaking of Navarro/Corsicana, whatever happened to Christian Hines? I think that was his name. He was a WR that was a gray shirt.
  6. Loved Vito's quote from his blog last night: "And UNT "Hit Six" at 6-5! Oh wait, wrong sport."
  7. Wallace did play late against Tulsa and recorded a few tackles
  8. So Fortenberry was a grayshirt and counts towards this year's class. The article Harry linked shows Flusche as a preferred walk-on. Did he earn a scholarship? If so, which class does he count towards?
  9. Another thing. I think the events they have planned for New Year's Eve and the morning of the game are great, but they should also plan a student NYE event.
  10. Interesting thought. I am in the Mean Green Club and have not received any information about the game. No big deal considering I am in for 4 tickets, but if they aren't reaching out to the Mean Green Club, then who are they targeting? I emailed Jessica this morning asking the same question.
  11. Well, maybe this is a good sign that Mac is happy with what we have coming back in Lincoln, Brown, Watson, Wallace, Polk, Fluesche, Orr, etc...
  12. Based on the comments in Vito's blog, we are no longer after OL's. Looks like Miles is our one and only this year.
  13. Do we know the exact number we can sign?mmVito seems set on 19 while others think it will be more.
  14. Now that it appears Greer is on board, how many spots are left? I hope they are all filled with Dlinemen and maybe Beard out of Waco Midway.
  15. I like the signing and believe this will provide Williams with the competition he needs to continue to improve. I also think Williams is our QB of the future, but he will be a redshirt freshman next year and still young. He could easily win the starting role, but if he falters, I think Greer will be there ready to go. I also think it tells us what the prospects of McNulty and Berglund moving up the depth chart...not likely. I honestly expect Berglund to transfer to a FCS school.
  16. Good luck big man. Enjoy 4th place, max, in the SBC and no bowls.
  17. Great. SMU did the same and look at them now. Kingsbury is to Tech as was Kinsler to the Rangers. He will hit some home runs early every year, but will end up a .270 hitter overall, make mistakes at the wrong time, the ladies will love him for his looks, but he won't lead Tech to the big win and will wear out his welcome.
