'25 DL Offer: Travis Buhake; Mansfield Summit: No Rating
UNTLifer replied to UNTLifer's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
Decided to go the JUCO route -
Javion was my pick as well followed closely by Mitchel, just to see what he could accomplish under a good coach.

‘24 TP Offer: JJ Hawkins, DL (Colorado)
UNTLifer replied to Glory to the Green's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
Saw that we also offered a DE from Montana. Can’t find the tweet now. -
You could bring back one player, any player from our recent past, for one more run, who would you select and why?

Well done. This team's missing piece is a player that can go low like Tan did the last couple of years. Will be fun to follow them.

Who beat us by one. True, Pitino, NYC and MSG are attractive, and they have history on their side, but is this currently really that big of a jump? I wish him well, but it is far from what I expected. Then again, St. John's has landed some solid transfers.

Sorry, but this is not the move up I thought he would get.

The last home games of the 2023-24 school year

That sucks. Was looking forward to a mid-week North Texas fix with what is becoming one of my favorite teams from our university. -

More of a BBQ, blues and murder kind of town. -
Noticed smu has lost 8 players to the portal. I would be interested in Zuric Phelps, Xavier Foster, Mo Njie and Jalen Smith. Of course, we would require a month of deprogramming and reeducation prior to allowing them to don the green and white.

As opposed to being developed on top of former desert land, cactus and rattlesnake domain?

I didn’t feel the need to include the most recently completed season since it was in your post directly above mine. I disagree with the remainder of your post. Good programs survive coaching changes.

Noland didn’t choose ABQ for national monuments, tramways or winter entertainment.

Maybe he put the seat down. Again, the lesson to work hard and move up the depth chart is lost in these kids. It has become, “Don’t get what I want, move along to somewhere else”.

Report: Farrar and Bradford Both Hit The Portal

Not surprised with Bradford and maybe a little with Farrar. Farrar wasn’t moving up the depth chart and Bradford is a headcase. We will be fine at RB. -
https://meangreensports.com/news/2024/4/21/mens-golf-allen-finishes-runner-up-at-aac-championship UNT senior Tucker Allen ended a great weekend at the American Athletic Conference Championship with his third round under par and a runner-up trophy as he finished the three-day event at 6-under par, two shots clear of third place, to wrap up his collegiate career. Allen was one of two golfers in the field to finish all three rounds under par with his 66-69-69 and entered Sunday's final round in a tie for first but ran into a buzzsaw in the form of South Florida's Jake Peacock, who fired a final-round 64 to separate himself from Allen and claim the championship.

https://meangreensports.com/news/2024/4/22/softball-simon-awarded-aac-player-of-the-week Infielder Cierra Simon was named American Athletic Conference Player of the Week after she led UNT softball to five wins including a sweep at Memphis, the league announced on Monday. Simon finished the week with a .400 batting average (8-for-20), 11 RBI and 16 total bases including two triples and one home run. She added five runs scored and two stolen bases. For the season, the Crockett, Texas native ranks top 10 in the conference with a .352 batting average, four triples and 96 defensive assists, each are career-high marks for the junior.

The kid would have to be blind, stupid or both to think we had a baseball program, so I find it odd that Morris would sell that lie and mar his reputation with future recruits. Plus, blind, stupid or both are poor QB qualities. I think he fell behind and wants a place where he has the opportunity to also play baseball in the event his football career doesn't pan out, which at this rate, it appears to be occurring.
