Coach Mac is playing with two classes of his recruits and he got a late start on his first class. Progress, look at the physical difference of the team compared with the team met when he first arrived. Look at the discipline improvment, academic improvement. Cheer the expectations , which are expressed every day. Support the program, the kids, the coaches. Better times are coming.

On top of these restrictions , the Big 10 has taken away Penn States portion of the Big Ten Bowl monies, for 4 years.

Another factor to remember is that kids now on a football scholarship can elect to stay at Penn State on a football scholarship even if they don't continue to play football. This could further reduce the actual number of scholarship players on the team.

The attendance figure is correct but , it was the total attendance for the 4 LSC games played that day in Jerry World. This year it will be spread over three days, because of the thursday night CBS telecast , the event will also include a high school game ( Southlake vs. ? ). WT played A&M Kingsville in the finale last year and most of the 24,000 were still there.
