The schools don't host these Coaching Schools, the cities do. Notice that each of the hosting cities have large convention centers. These coaches rotate between Dallas, Ft. Worth and Houston. Many years ago Coaching schools have convened in San Antonio and even Lubbock.

While several UNT offers have been rejected in favor of other schools by some of our recruiting targets , it is nice see us going after players sought by some big name schools. It seems for years this has not been the case. And, if somewhere down the line these players who chose other schools become uuhappy with their choice, they will be aware of UNT.

One of the best football players I ever saw was Butch Walterscheid from Hereford , his pro career was cut short by a car accident.
