POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT:

Job Title: Program Manager– Full time position

Department: Research

FLSA status: Exempt

Location: Dallas

Description:

Under limited supervision, provides professional support to the Center for Medical Laboratory Research by planning, coordinating, and managing one or more research projects of considerable scope and complexity. Position includes management and oversight of personnel, facilities, human subjects, data collection, and supplies in support of research project desired outcomes, budgets, and timelines. Duties include planning methods and procedures for collection of data to provide information needed in medical and health-related projects. Project manager will provide direction and training to exercise testing laboratory personnel and research assistants to ensure efficient, timely and high quality results in compliance with all protocols, guidelines, and regulations. Position will include assisting in developing a computer-based tracking and scheduling system to ensure timely collection of data and monitor participant enrollment and retention. Responsibilities will also include compilation of data and reports regarding research project operations and progress to update staff, investigators and Internal Review Board. Position will assist in the preparation and writing of research reports, manuscripts, papers and grant proposals for presentation and publication.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s degree, and 3 to 5 years related professional experience. Must have research experience.

Preferred: Master’s degree

Salary: $45-60 K; commensurate with qualifications and experience.
