For those Riley fans all he did today was rush 15 times for 70 yds, (3 rushing TD's) completed 24 of 30 yds for 262 yds...a combined total of 332 yds in one game., Don't know how many passing TD's yet. Lance Dunbar continued with another excellant game...rushed 23 times for 227 yds including a 71 yd TD. Gilmore finally iced the game on 4th and 1 with a 7 point NT lead. It was sure scary early on but NT hung in there and probably scored 68 points, I believe to be a NT record. Now if the defense would only play like they did in the 4th quarter.

Found this....NT made 32.5 yds per kickoff return against Troy Last year NT was last in the Sunbelt on kick off return yardage and kick off coverage. NT leads the lead in both categories this year: Kick off returns aver of 21 yds Kick off coverage 44.3 yds gained per kickoff.

One big difference between the La Monroe game comparison.....I was there and there couldn't have been more 50 fans at that game if I remember correctly. Even with our record didn't we have over 20,000 fans the last two home games? I expected the naysayers comments on firing Dodge. I guess I didn't expect the hits on DeLoach and his defense. Lets see DeLoach has been back only this year with ONE 1, recruiting season under his belt. How many defensive current players did he recruit? Of course its DeLoaches fault his top Defensive player didn't play against Troy, just like its TDodges fault NT's best player QB was injured and didn't player against Troy. Of course its not important or had anything to do with the fact that troy started most of their drives from mid field or better. I keep hearing change 5 plays and NT would have 4 wins and 2 losses. The only one I can remember is the Ohio game where a WR dropped a pass in t the end zone for a TD that was in his hands at the Ohio game...or NT would have won that game. You forgot the other side of the action you want....the first money to be spent would be to pay T Dodge salary for the remainder of this year and for his 2010 season contract plus the contracts on the other coaches we replace. Then if you think you will get $1 million dream on,,,,,,your one million would be for the head coaches salary? Such a coach would want his own coaches and thousands of money to pay for the asst coaches he brings in plus the increase in recruiting costs.

For those that don't know who BIG DAWG is it is my understanding that he makes his living as a football coach and brings that knowledge to back up his posts. We should be glad he contributes....I am. *********************************************************

I remember one game Weasel went to an opponent, grabbed the front of the opponents jersery and his right arm went into a fist and was ready to cold calk him before he was pulled off....an outstanding player though.

DeLoach doesn't coach special teams, he has enough troubles of his own.

If you mean La Laf is a "Bad Team" you are wrong...didn't they beat Kansas State this year? I didn't check this out...just relying on memory. If I'm wrong I'm sure I will be corrected....
