Will Dodge really go down? Not hardly. If he does, it will be a whirlwind event just like two years ago. I just don't see it happen. RV, would do himself justice by making what he feels like is best for the team in the longterm, now. Either he believes in Dodge or he doesn't, if he does not, then his decision should be immediate. RV was so impressed with Dodge when he came on board. RV would talk about how organized practice was, how well the team was being coached, and just gushing with pride about one TD. Is the honeymoon over? Well, RV has spent more time on the sideline this season. He even yells at the players some. RV is feeling the pressure but what is he gonna do, blow several hundred thousand dollars and fire him? Only if a bigger, proven name is out there and who would that be? Who is willing to come to Fouts field on the hope a stadium gets built? On a program where the student body will never travel to a road game, unless its SMU. On a program where the alumni never travel? On a program where there is no alumni dollars for football? I guess I answered my own question. Nobody worth a crap.

What happens if Deloach thinks this program is a joke and leaves? What Assistant coaches will be replaced? I would think that if Deloach stays on that he gets all his own assistants so he can have no excuses. I wonder how much recruiting Deloach is doing and if he is the decision maker for the defensive recruits. Would Dodge regulate himself to being just the head coach with a new offensive scheme? Or will the Dodge ego get in the way? If Dodge believes his offense is struggling because of complete lack of talent and contiinues down the same path he has been on, it could get ugly. He will go down in flames with Riley starting next season. Riley will start no later than game three. He will let Tune or Vizza get their ass whipped by Bama then insert his son against a game that is winnable at Army.

He'll never see the field with what is in front of him. Not knocking the kid but it's a fact. I like what Snead has done at Ole Miss. Go play ball where you can get on the field. Who wants to sit on the bench especially with two seasons left? If I could play, I would rather go to AA or D-2 and play than sit on this sinking ship called Dodge ball.

Is Deloach really the right guy? His defense hasn't shown much and I would consider Last night's performance the WORST tackling effort I have ever seen. I still confused by his failure to wear a headset. Does he not trust the boys in the box? Will Deloach change his staff if he stays?

Did Bradford even break a sweat? He never gets touched. Neither does Daniels or most of the good ones. But Bradford just sits back and plays catch to wide open WR's and to a lot of wide open TE's. Amazing OL and great play calling on set up by the ability to run the ball.

You know Rick, your friends (the Meagers) say the same things but no peep out of you. You sit and giggle with them out in the parking lot slapping backs and telling stories about what Mr. Meager calling our coahces dumb and dumber. Your apart of that, and you know it. All I did, was state the facts up at Bonnie Brae, that this team has lost respect for most of the staff and a lot of it was caused by a certain young fellow. If UNT was smart, they would auction off every jersey every season and raise money that way. At least, you would get some extra cash and some new uniforms each season.

Based on the training staff member I know, locker room is divided. Dodge preaches family but is full of it and fake. Riley gets preferential treatment and tells Daddy everything but hides the fact that he is no angel, if you know what I mean. The entire SLC community can tell you about the sagas of the First Family of the Mean Green as follows: Riley first ever freshman to play on the JV and the workout with the varsity. Greg McElroy (2nd string QB at Alabama right now) rotates series with Riley when Riley is a soph. BUT McElroy never rotated ever when he backed up Chase Daniel. Riley personal goal sheets were to break every TD passing record rather than allowing Kyle Padron to play when games were out of reach. Believe me, UNT and SLC players know that Todd Dodge is infatuated with his son and believes he is an off the field angel. Just ask Riley's old girlfriend, who is at UNT, about Sir Riley. My friends live with her. Do I need to go on. I would but the administrators will ban me again. One thing to note: The Dodge's are slick and polished. Why don't we get former Coach Mendoza to interview for the GMG network and divulge the behind the lines on UNT football. Now that would be great information.

Fentriss had a huge impact for Rice as a true freshman. Unbelievable season. The whole entire year he had six catches for 60 yards. Now that is production. Fentriss wasn't even as good as Dibrell. Dibrell ran routes the same, same speed, but Dibrell was 210 or more and never dropped the ball.
