  1. Wait, which Prince are you talking about? This guy looks pretty "Asian Pitcher" to me:
  2. Replace Rainey with Dunbar and you have the consensus idea about UNT as well...
  3. Well, just like we shouldn't bash the kids for not making their grades, we shouldn't bash the AD for not making the guys' grades. Right? Just how short are we now? Holmen banged up, Hogans out for the forseable future, Robinson still on the mend, and now we lose these two... We're not going to replace Jones' production, but it's Trey's time to shine, and Alzee is a capable combo guard, as is Walton. We don't really have that athletic swingman to replace Williams, but I suppose it opens up more PT for Franklin and Niko. We really need to get our injured guys healthy ASAP!
  4. I'll take some corners who can cover/tackle before I begin thinking about QB's.
  5. Or, you can take it to discount tire where they patch for free.
  6. This New York team is eerily similar to the 2008 Super Bowl winner. They will beat the niners. I think the AFC championship game is a toss up.
  7. To answer the first question: No. Although some people will turn it into ammunition against them. To offer an opinion on the second statement: That is disturbing sir. Are you saying this should not be reported? If so, Why not?
  8. I remember this one. It looked like Tony was looking for Alzee to pop out to the corner and spot-up for a 3, but Alzee started to cut to the basket just as Tony sent the ball to the corner. Simple miscommunication. Happens to the best of them. Soon, these will begin to minimize as these guys figure out not only the offensive system, but their teammates' styles. Yep. I remember this one too... although I only remember it once. Close to the end of the game. Totally caught Trey off guard with his pass. Trey was on his way up the court with Tony, not looking for a pass. These guys just need time.
  9. If you put "Mitchell" on the back, it would no longer be a replica. Our guys don't have their names on the backs of their jerseys.
  10. I'm not taking ANY bullets for this team until someone answers the 2 following questions: 1. Can we? 2. Will we?
  11. At the game last night I saw a few people scattered around wearing a jersey-style T-Shirt with Tony's number on the back. Where can I get one of those? Is this a UNT bookstore only thing?
  12. I love this. Giving a nod to probably the most prolific team to come through here in a long time (if not ever) wins points from me.
  13. My favorite play was the Alzee steal, then pass to a streaking Tony Mitchell completely uncontested (the WKY players were literally walking back). I'm gearing up for the highlight dunk of the evening... perhaps a 720 or something like that? Instead, Tony fumbles the ball under the basket, picks it back up, looks around for a defender (who are all still on the other side of the court watching), then just throws it down with a simple 2 hand jam. I was laughing so hard... I guess what they say is true: The only person who can stop Tony Mitchell, is Tony Mitchell.
  14. It happens more often than you might think.
  15. I don't think Ricky Rubio is eligible to hold political office in the US. But, I bet he'd have some pretty slick assists to the President if he were the VP. Dude's a baller!
  16. The reason I think it will be a pretty smooth transition is because Mac is a defensive-minded coach. I'm sure he understood the ins & outs of coach Bowen's schemes, and I'm pretty sure he's familiar with coach Skladany's schemes, so he should be able to ease the transition. Plus, we still have Zach Orr in the middle helping to call the game on the field as well. He seems like he would be able to pick up on a new scheme pretty quickly.
  17. Sure are! How 'bout: EulessEagle: "Webpage citation: The art of subliminally making a point." TheTastyGreek: "Statistics made Easy: The science of crafting poigniant statistics in the blink of an eye." FireFightnRick: "Cannons 101" Cooley: "DFW Basketball: The ins & outs of identifying future basketball stars/busts at the High School level" I'm sure there are others that I missed.
  18. Flower Mound could hire Hayden Fry and we would still have problems getting their top talent to come up to NT for the same reasons it's hard to get Denton Ryan/Guyer kids... They don't want to stay this close to home. I wonder if he'll actually come back to HS football, or if this is just his fall-back plan. Surely some other D-1 school (FBS or FCS) out there would want him as a QB's coach?
