  1. You said it looked like Seth's team and I was telling you that's because it's mostly his recruits.
  2. What are your demands exactly? And I don't think you are giving Cal the credit they are due, regardless of how bad we were yesterday.
  3. Now that everyone has lost their minds and gone scorched earth on the forum, one questions remains to be answered. What are YOU going to do about it? Have a terrible attitude for the rest of the season? Play "I told you so" the whole tome? Or are you going to have some pride and support our student athletes?
  4. Well it does in relation to your prior statement. lol
  5. Everyone on here losing their minds are coping hard AF and still aren't mad enough to do something about it. Are you guys all ready to hang it up as fans? Pretty insufferable attitudes imo.
  6. You know how you break a pattern? You stop expecting it and by default making it a reality. If you want to grow or change you have to expect it. Good grief.
  7. Wow. This is a lot of whining. For all those throwing shade - How much do you all donate to NIL? Do you have season tickets? Do you stay for/watch the entire game no matter the score? Exactly. Put your wallets and actions where your expectations are and have some freaking pride. Ever heard of keeping your chin up?
  8. It's almost like he recruited most of the team, huh?
  9. "In other words, the ACC did not expand because Stanford, Cal and SMU offer competitive upgrades in the sports that matter (they don’t) or because they add equal revenue value to the existing television contract (they don’t) or because they make geographical and logistical sense for a conference that exists exclusively in the Eastern time zone (they don’t)." "In other words, SMU is going to literally pay to play in its new league despite being competitively irrelevant in its old one. There will be three presidential elections by the time SMU gets a dollar from television." Ouch.
  10. Hahah good one. She's helped me soar more than anyone in my life. We actually met at a UNT tailgate (even though she is an ASU alumni) almost 15 years ago.
  11. Thanks for sharing, I'll be checking it out with the wife this Saturday. Very much looking forward to it.
  12. What's it like and is it worth the extra $$$?
  13. You and smu have absolutely been (figuratively) crying for decades - thus the line of donors you mention. The fact you come here to pontificate is even more of an indication of such / and the need for validation. From UNT fans at that. It's quite remarkable actually.
  14. $200 Million to get in, and ZERO for 7 years. Seems like smu has been crying for quite a while for someone to validate them.
  15. This post, on our board, solidifies how small and fragile you and the smu community are. The lack of self-worth you undoubtedly feel will never be filled as you look for validation outside of yourself. Chronologically old, spiritually infantile. What a miserable existence.
  16. This is the point that he misses. Or at the very least he ignores.
  17. I'm talking about you and the fan base specifically. And that answer sounds like a 'No'.
  18. Does this finally validate y'all? It's extremely odd that you are here, leading me to believe you are not.
  19. You can sign into your account and download the game ticket and parking pass. Received that info via email a few days ago.
  20. Great watch and very informative. Interesting to hear the WSU president say he had always seen benefit in being associated with Cal and Standford, and acting lockstep with them was always best for his school. However, at the end he mentioned needing to create their own future and not depend on what Cal and Stanford do going forward. This type of waffling probably contributed to them being left behind at the negotiating table. Cal and Stanford, along with the teams that left were focused on money and the future while WSU was just happy to be involved.
  21. I've lived in north Texas and Dallas for roughly 9 years collectively and can say with certainty that the "SMU crowd" isn't exactly welcoming or hospitable to the rest of Dallas in the sense of community. Police cars facing out and across Forest Ave. towards homes worth less than 1 million come to mind. Hard to garner support when you are looking down on your 'neighbors'.
  22. I think you might be giving them a little too much credit. Not knocking their football success, but their semi-monopolized market is their major selling point. A 7th year senior QB doesn't hurt either. BTW they didn't exactly blow us out last season.
  23. My man, y'all struggle with all the financial resources and a central Dallas location. Seems like your problem is worse than ours.
