  1. Being upset and complaining are two different things. Hence them being separate words. I knew you would say that too. Is being difficult your thing or is this how you are all the time? Wait, don't answer that.
  2. I'm not the one complaining, you and others are. I don't owe you a list. But I will continue to show my support by showing up to home games and staying the entire time, and donating.
  3. I thought that was you who picked 3 wins, lol. Look I hear you, and I agree with you. I was freaking there for the entire game. My entire stance this time has been if people are fired up enough to go scorched earth, do something about it. Because only ranting and then expecting different is a recipe for upset. However I understand others feel differently.
  4. Love it, and never said or implied otherwise.
  5. Wait, so you thought we'd come in with new everything and beat a revamped Cal? I cannot speak to the rest of your comment. See Mike's post above for why I had tampered expectations yesterday.
  6. Again, never said people should not be mad. But if people are bug mad they should do something about it. Especially if they are in 95+ degree heat and paying/donating.
  7. Agreed, and understood. Definitely not here to tell people to tolerate losing. However, if we are 15 threads mad, action should be taken. That is my opinion and mo, so I get it if others want to watch and expect better.
  8. Same here. And I didn't necessarily mean you specifically being mad. But this forum definitely got heated. Really UNT and UNT athletics does depend on the people of this forum. we ARE the diehards that bleed green. So if they piss you/anyone off then you/they should do something about it. Apparently I'm an outlier with that opinion.
  9. That is fine. You do you. But it is a lot of hot air and energy to do literally nothing. Personally, if I was as mad as others are, donate and attend like I do, and have the football iq they have (being serious) I'd say or do something about it. But it is pretty clear to expect the same product next time if you say nothing to the people who provided it. I understand being upset, but this is a little ridiculous imo.
  10. Agreed. Thoughts on why so many had us beating Cal? Or having a better performance? Because what you have outlined makes it seem that yesterday was cooked before the oven preheated. I predicted 6-6 with a loss to Cal for the season.
  11. Assumptions all over the place on this board. I'm an alumni btw.
  12. Okay, we have now entered a circular conversation.
  13. This is the key takeaway from everyone - that my stance is be happy. Which it is not. And yes, you always stand tall and stay proud. Or at least I do. That is how we maintain the courage to change.
  14. I see it differently - when you invest in the support of the school/team you have a say. And if the voice is loud enough, whether vocally or monetarily, it will be heard. But man did this board go off the rails badly. So I am also warranted in asking people to do something with all that passion/energy/anger. People who said to relax it's just one game were literally told off. Look at how you came at me as a defender of Morris or whatever. But the answer is to wait and see? That doesn't add up.
  15. Actually it is, chief. Or are you the type of fan to donate and wait for the changes you want to see? And don't assume everyone here donates or has student tickets, or we'd see that reflected in attendance numbers and total donations.
  16. Look, I honestly agree with you. But if you see glaring issues you must say or do something about it. Especially as a longtime fan. We need to get our collective sh*t together - because as I've said, waiting hasn't and isn't going to cut it. Even more so to your point on timeline. It just seems like a few fans here were broken yesterday and may hang their fan cleats up. lol But if people are willing to make 15 threads bemoaning yesterday in every way then they should say/do something about it, and not here but to the people responsible for the product. For too man years UNT fans have waited for better - we need to MAKE it happen. And that starts off the fan forum imo with personal action.
  17. Man you are on something else when it comes to assumptions. All I can say you have some anger that would be best addresses with a run or physical activity. I'm not telling you that you are wrong or to like yesterday's outcome. But you and others have let out quite a bit of hot air to not do anything about it. And if that inaction is paired with a terrible attitude from fans on this board we have more of a problem then just losing yesterday.
  18. I mean yes if you are not already. Or at least purchase season tickets, or donate to NIL. We all know complaining on this board will amount to zero change. And a terrible attitude never results in positive outcomes.
  19. I mean, I haven't really said the criticism isn't warranted. But now what? Like what actionable steps will you do as a fan. Based on your posts it seems like you and even others should hang it up as fans. And yes, I will stand tall as a proud alumni of UNT. And I find it funny that so many fans complain but can't donate, stay the entire game, etc.
  20. If you can post here you can write an email. You sure are seem to have all the answers. I'm talking about your mindset and attitude as a FAN going forward.
  21. You said that after the fact. And actually I support the student athletes whose performance somehow define your personal happiness. I'm tired of the pity party negative attitude when you will do absolutely nothing but pontificate about.
